00:00I think it was a fabulous experience coming here and TASIC has been a marvelous experience and the
00:08icing on the cake of course is winning this award and being recognized for the kind of
00:12work that we are doing so yeah it's always a great experience and I look forward to coming
00:18to TASIC in fact every year. Firstly the overall theme of this year's conference actually resonated
00:29very closely with the kind of work we are doing which is basically at the intersection of technology
00:34and society also considering that our paper would have greatly contributed to the track of the paper
00:44that we were supposed to present at it just seemed like the greatest fit and also like you know
00:49connecting with the right kind of people who are doing good work in our space is always you know
00:54something that as scholars we look forward to. One of the key highlights for the conference was
01:02this feedback session that happened in our track which is a technology and consumer track and that
01:08feedback session was sort of consolidated for all of us and you know we were given some really good
01:16insightful points that we can build on to further our work and of course the second highlight should
01:22we meet the editor session we were able to have such enlightening you know panel on you know positioning
01:29our paper understanding what goes behind rejections desk rejections or you know wherever a scholar is
01:37required or scholar authors are required to you know revise our manuscript and how that process is a very
01:44natural part of research in general so you know taking it with stride and being optimistic about your work is
01:51something that we need to inculcate as a value as well so I think those two will have been the highlights and
01:58of course you know our work getting recognized was absolutely the cherry on the on the cake
02:06I think as forum and as a scholarship space TASIC provides a great opportunity for a networking just
02:15understanding what is happening in the academic domain and I think that is very relevant to understand
02:21so that you can position yourself as as a scholar at a national and international level the best things
02:26that I liked about the conference was that it gave a forum for emerging scholars like us to really put
02:33across our work without any hesitation I figured that being an emerging economy like India scholars like
02:40us actually bring that kind of experience and context and nuance to the global forum so having those
02:45discussions in domestic conferences or national conference of importance like TASIC actually helps
02:51us you know channelize those discussions in the right direction so that you know we can build our
02:58scholarship and then therefore go ahead and give our word and our you know nation a global exposure so I
03:05think that is a great stepping stone as well especially for emerging scholars and especially for you know PhD scholars like us
