00:00What do you think of what Boston has accomplished over the last couple of

00:05weeks and winning 10 in a row?

00:07And, you know, I talked about Bayo on the show already today.

00:11He had the complete game win.

00:13Then he comes out and does it again,

00:15where he goes deep into the game yesterday.

00:19Crochet had a complete game.

00:22They have the bats are on fire.

00:25They get rid of Devers.

00:26You are the guy, and I gave you credit for this.

00:28You're the only guy I know that said he wouldn't hit in San Francisco,

00:32and he's done nothing in that ballpark at all.

00:35But Boston is better than ever.

00:40Yeah, they have this kid who, you know, I'm very familiar with because I thought

00:44there was a chance Miami was going to get him a couple of years,

00:46and Sedan Raffaella, I mean, this kid has been awesome.

00:50You know, I really thought he'd be a superstar even years ago,

00:53and it's turning out to be the case now.

00:55So that's the positive.

00:56But I would say on the flip side, Scott, I'll tell you what I think.

01:00I think the Red Sox are pretty much a 500 team.

01:03I think they're playing a little bit better than people would expect.

01:07And I also would say, look, you have to beat who's in front of you.

01:10But beating the Rockies three in a row and then beating the White Sox three or four in a row,

01:14they're going through a soft part of the schedule.

01:15I know they played well against Tampa Bay, too.

01:17I get that.

01:17But I think the regression to the mean will come for them a little bit.

01:21But if the Red Sox ended up winning 84, 85 games this season, I mean,

01:25there maybe would be some people that would be upset.

01:27But I think that's kind of who they are.

01:29So I wouldn't get too – I know they won 10 in a row, but I wouldn't get too excited just yet.

01:33I watched that guy in the Naga pitch yesterday.

01:37And for his size, I was blown away by his stuff.

01:40How impressed are you by his work in Chicago and what he did at Yankee Stadium?

01:46He was great last year.

01:47He was great this year.

01:48And then he got hurt and missed some time.

01:50He's come back.

01:51And, look, he's going to start.

01:53I mean, look, if you assume the Cubs are making the playoffs at some point,

01:56either he's starting their first wild card game

01:58or he's starting their first or second series game in the division series,

02:02he's a very big part of what they're going to do moving forward.

02:04And, you know, this is basically a full year and a half of him being a number one

02:09or number two starter in Major League Baseball.

02:11So it doesn't surprise me at all.

02:12I saw it last year too.

02:13The Brewers are up their tuchus and playing great baseball.

02:18They've won eight of ten and seven in a row.

02:20Nothing like, you know, the Red Sox and the Brewers being this hot and then it ends

02:25and you got four days off and do you lose your swerve?

02:28You know what I mean?

02:29Yeah, I think when it comes to the Brewers, I think, Scott,

02:32is it time to just basically say that, you know,

02:35we gave the Rays for being this best organization in baseball for so many years?

02:39I mean, has the Brewers taken that now?

02:41I mean, it doesn't matter who they have.

02:43It doesn't matter what pitchers they lose.

02:45It doesn't matter who is the manager of the Brewers.

02:47They end up winning like 90 games every year.

02:50So incredible pitching factory.

02:53They just keep calling up pitchers.

02:54They keep doing well.

02:56You know, they get these players from the minor leagues.

02:58They draft well.

02:58They develop well.

03:00Jackson Churio, they find him internationally.

03:02A few years later, he's an all-star.

03:04So two thumbs up for Milwaukee.

03:06Don't think they're built to win the World Series,

03:08but they'll be competitive every year.
