King has also lauded the Windies bowlers for doing their part, saying the batters have to follow suit in the day/night Test.

00:00Batsman Brandon King is looking forward to playing in front of his home crowd when the
00:04West Indies meet Australia in their pingball test at Sabina Park from Saturday.
00:08It's going to be King's third test and he hopes to carry forward his form from the Grenada
00:12match where he scored 75 in the first innings against the Aussies.
00:16I've played a few white ball games at home before and it felt incredible.
00:21So, you know, this being the first, I think, day-night test match in Sabina, it's going
00:26to be great.
00:26I'm looking forward to it.
00:28In terms of carrying from the last game, I just want to have, you know, consistency
00:32of approach.
00:34You know, the formula that I used to go out there and approach my batting in the last game,
00:38I just want to come in this game and do the same and see what happens.
00:42He sees the pingball challenge as an exciting one against a team that has played the most
00:46day-night games.
00:48And with a whitewash on the cards, what must the West Indies do to come out on top?
00:52Yeah, I think it's just a little bit, you know, of consistency throughout the test match.
00:56You know, obviously, if you look at the last two games, we've been competing with them
01:00up to a certain point.
01:02And then, you know, kind of, you know, fall away a little bit.
01:04But that's, you know, the reality is we're playing against the number one team in the
01:08world.
01:08So for us to win or to be, you know, to challenge for a win, we need to be consistent in all
01:14aspects of the game right through till the end.
01:15So we're just looking to improve on those little 1%ers to see if we can carry it through
01:19this time.
01:21The Caribbean team managed to take 40 Australian wickets, but failed with the bat, hence the
01:25reason for being down 2-0.
01:27As such, King is full of praise for the Wendy's bowlers.
01:30Yeah, the bowlers have been fantastic.
01:33You know, to get 20 wickets in the games is incredible from them.
01:39You know, I've seen the work that they put in in training.
01:42You know, so it's good to see that it pays off in the game and they come with the same,
01:46if not more, intensity in the game.
01:48So it's really good for us, especially as a batting unit, to see how hard those guys
01:53are working and to help us to put us in a position for us to perform and win games.
01:58King expects the Sabina Park wicket to be a decent one, which will have something for
02:03both batters and bowlers.
02:05The note, Narwani Chiefs export.
