05:47We don't know much about them.
05:51After they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden, very little is known of them.
05:59They kind of disappeared into history.
06:01I doubt if they went to heaven.
06:04But I don't know that for sure, so I could be wrong.
06:07But everybody has taught on Adam and Eve, including me.
06:11I've taught on them before.
06:12It's a great story.
06:14It's a pertinent story.
06:15And an important story.
06:18But today, I thought I'd take a little different slant on it
06:22to give you an idea of how Adam and Eve directly affects your church
06:29and the churches in your community all over the Christian world,
06:35particularly here in Canada and the United States and Mexico,
06:42particularly here in North America.
06:43Something horrible has happened to the churches,
06:47and it's directly related to Adam and Eve.
06:52Okay, turn with me in your Bible quickly.
06:542 Corinthians chapter 11.
06:58And here you know Brother Paul's writing him another epistle,
07:04and he's telling him,
07:06listen, I'm worried about you.
07:10I'm scared for you.
07:11I'm jealous over you.
07:12I'm concerned about you.
07:14I want to help you.
07:17He was panicking a little bit because Adam and Eve had infiltrated the church.

08:01It means to completely or totally,
08:03100% seduce.

08:07Eve, the devil,

08:15And he says he deceived her through his subtlety.

08:21Panergeia is the Greek word for subtlety there.
08:24It means craftiness, cunning.
08:27As the snake completely deceived Eve through his cunning,
08:36so your minds should be corrupted.
08:41Now, that was mistranslated in the King James Bible.
08:44The Greek word minds there is actually naama.
08:48It means thoughts.
08:51See, the devil controls humanity,
08:53and he controls Christians,
08:55and he controls churches,
08:56and he controls mentally ill people
08:59through their minds
09:01by manipulating
09:03their thoughts.
