00:00All right, hi people, it's Jinx here. I'm here to do an unboxing for you guys today, cutting up
00:05redos for all three of these. All three Sylvester McCoy seasons from Doctor Who Classic on Blu-ray.
00:11So yeah, because they released, uh, all, or they're, they have been releasing all these
00:16sets in a sort of anachronic order where they're out of order, um, we had to wait a bit. Uh, at
00:23first I did the Colin Baker sets, now I'm doing Sylvester McCoy. As soon as we get more sets for,
00:29or the rest of the sets for John Pertwee, Peter Davison, and Tom Baker, I will be doing those
00:35as well. Uh, I wonder what they're going to do for the, um, for the rest of the, uh, the last two
00:42William Hartnell seasons, I believe. And then the three, um, Patrick Troughton sets. I, because you
00:50know, we have one William Hartnell season, no Troughton seasons, and a lot of the episodes from
00:55those, if they have not been animated, are still missing. They don't have a visual element. So,
01:02yeah. And I think they did the, the only William Hartnell set that they have done thus far, because
01:07all the, one of those stories have all the episodes. I think, I think like one or two episodes on one
01:14of the episodes, or in one of the stories, is not complete. So they just used recon, or the
01:19tele-snap reconstructions. But yeah, I would, I hope that they like, animate those last two episodes,
01:25re-release that story, so you can just buy that, and that's fine. But yeah. So, we shall see.
01:32Here we go. With the first set, first Sylvester McCoy. Got a nice picture, uh, art of him.
01:39Background. Kind of like the TARDIS interior. He got, I believe that's the Ronnie, right? And then
01:45the rest of the bad guys for the season. That's a small one. Um, I haven't watched these episodes
01:52yet. So yeah. Uh, Sylvester McCoy, complete season one, aka season 24. Disc eight, or eight
01:58disc set, and then Blu-ray, Spine. We're back. You got the list of the, um, uh, stories that are in
02:08here. All the bonus features, and then they ported over all the bonus features from the DVDs.
02:14Sylvester McCoy, Bonnie Langford, and Sophie Aldred.
02:18169 Anamorphic. Nah, the episodes are in 4x3, unless they have, like, a movie edit that cropped
02:23it to 169, but yeah. Just so you know. Special features, at least most of those, are in, uh,
02:29169, because they were made for the DVDs and Blu-rays. Uh, Dolby Digital, 5.1, 700 minutes,
02:34approximately, region one. They made region A. Color in black and white, NTSC. Kinda. The episodes
02:40are still in 25 FPS, which is fine. And the subtitles, uh, it says English SDA,
02:44they are the subtitles from the British releases that keep the spellings and whatever, uh, the
02:49British ones. So, yeah. It's whatever at this point. Might not be in high def annoying subtitles,
02:55may vary. Sam. So here we go. With the discs. Disc one, Time and the Ronnie. Then Time and the Ronnie
03:03bonus. Paradise Towers. Paradise Towers bonus. I guess they have been doing bonus discs for all these.
03:10Uh, disc five, Delta and the Bannermen. And then the bonus disc for that is seven, Dragonfire.
03:18And then the bonus disc for that. So now we have the most recent, which is season two, aka season 25.
03:26I like this. I think this is the best, like, art that they have had for Sebastian McQuay,
03:30at the very least. Because, like, the backgrounds are mostly the same for these two, and they're a bit
03:34plain. Whereas this has a nice space background. I really like it. When they actually put the PNG
03:40arts of the Doctor in front of an actual background, it's nice. So, yeah. It's on the spine and on the
03:49back. So basically the same across them all. So this one, Remembers of the Daleks and the bonus disc.
03:57Happiness Patrol and the bonus disc for that. Uh, Silver Nemesis and the bonus disc for that.
04:05The Greatest Show in the Galaxy and the bonus disc for that. So, yeah.
04:12So here we go with, uh, Sebastian McCoy season three, aka season 26. The last, uh, season of the,
04:19uh, classic era before the show was canceled. Uh, revived for a TV movie, but that did not get the,
04:27um, what is the word? Um, the, um, the ratings that they wanted. So they didn't move forward on it.
04:36So, yeah. So it was, it was dependent on the American side of the co-production. Because it
04:41was co-produced, I believe, with Universal and Fox. So, yeah. Um, so yeah. So we have the picture
04:48there, the spine and the back. That's actually pretty cool. That little art there. So, yeah.
05:00So we have disc one, uh, Battlefield, episodes one to 490, special edition. Disc two, VHS reconformed
05:08version of Battlefield. Disc three, Ghostlight, episodes one to three and episodes one to three
05:13in the work print version, I guess. Disc four, Curse of Fenric, and the special edition reconformed.
05:19Disc five, Curse of Fenric, Curse of Fenric, VHS reconformed. Disc six, Survival, and an extra
05:27disc. So this has seven discs in it. So, yeah. Um, and they do have, like, special artwork that
05:38depicts, uh, characters on the back. But, yeah. So, not much else to say. So, um, leave
05:47a subscription on my shit, subscribe if you want, and I'll see you guys in the next one.
