A domestic dispute turned deadly this morning in Claxton Bay.

According to police reports, 33-year-old Kerron Phillip, a Mason and father of three, of Diamond Village, Claxton bay, was liming at his brother’s home, next door to his house on Monday night.

00:14Around one this morning, he left the party intoxicated and went home.
00:18That's when an argument allegedly ensued between him and a close female relative over the noise being made by a fan.
00:26It's reported that the woman was slapped to her face and she retaliated and stabbed Phillip to the abdomen.
00:33The couple was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where Phillip succumbed to his injuries around 3.30 a.m.
00:39The woman was detained by officers of the San Fernando Police Station while at hospital.
00:45Investigations are continuing.
