Two sisters and their teenaged nephew were beaten, bound and robbed at their Penal home on Tuesday morning. Four masked bandits, two armed with cutlasses and two with firearms, broke into the family’s home around 1:30am while they slept.

00:29Speaking off camera, their home on Wednesday, the younger sister recounted the traumatic ordeal.

01:57A 65-year-old woman was tied up and assaulted at her home in Manzanilla on Monday morning after three
02:04people entered her property and announced a robbery.
02:06Police said the woman of Camparo Village was in her garden at the front of her home around 7.30
02:12a.m. on May 11th when she was approached by the suspects.
02:16The assailants robbed the woman of a Samsung cellular phone valued at $1,500 and the keys to her home
02:22before tying her hands with rope and leaving her in the garden.
02:25The suspects then entered the house, ransacked it and stole $5,500 in cash, a pair of gold earrings valued
02:33at $500, a gold chain valued at $1,500, two gold rings valued at $1,000 and two frozen chickens
02:41valued at $120.
02:43The total value of the stolen items and cash was estimated at $10,120.
02:49Police said the woman later freed herself and went to the Manzanilla police station where she made a report.
02:54She was subsequently taken to the Manzanilla Health Center for medical examination.
