It wasn't only the senior West Indies men and women that lost on Wednesday.

The West Indies 'A' were also beaten by South Africa 'A' by 42 runs last night in their opening 50-over match under lights in St. Lucia.

The South Africans were bowled out for 283 in the 47th over, with Jediah Blades taking three wickets.

In reply, the Windies 'A' were dismissed for 241 in the 45th over, with Kevlon Anderson scoring 45.
