Does this injury to Brown change any potential offseason trade talk

Jaylen was apparently playing for 2 months with a partially torn meniscus. #NBA  Does this injury change any potential offseason trade talk with new owner Bill Chisholm? Should it?

00:04I'm not here to make excuses. He came out after the loss that he was playing for the last two

00:08months with a partially torn meniscus. There's two avenues he can take now when it comes to

00:14a surgery. He can either do a removal or a repair depending on what the training staff wants him to

00:21do. There's recovery times for both, but either way, he should be good to go for the beginning

00:26of next season. But this for the offseason that the Celtics face is tough for Billy Chisholm

00:33because if his goal was to trade Jalen Brown, which a lot of people speculated it was, does

00:39this hurt other teams and what they would offer up for a trade back? I don't want to get rid

00:44of Jalen Brown for any. I personally don't want to get rid of Jalen Brown. Let me make

00:49that clear. But if we had to, I don't want to give up Jalen Brown for anything less than

00:53what we deserve for Jalen Brown. So an injured Jalen Brown to get the money back. I don't

00:59want a Joe's, a, a, a, a scrub bean. Yeah. You won't get a scrub beans back for Jalen Brown,

01:05but, but other teams can look at this as an opportunity to get more in the trade back

01:09than what they're willing to give the Celtics. If you're Billy Chisholm and you've got a banged

01:13up Jalen Brown, you have Jason Tatum sitting out all next season. Unless you're getting a top

01:18a, like a top caliber player, do not trade Jalen Brown. But you still, because I don't

01:25think the injury is something that's going to be a long term. We don't know if he's going

01:31to come back from it. It'll be something that, you know, every injury is major, but this is

01:37something that I don't like look at and like, oh, this is a massive injury where other teams

01:42would be like, oh, there's a red flag. If we get Jalen Brown. Other teams can capitalize

01:45on it this off season though. That's what I'm saying. So if you have a healthy Jalen

01:50Brown and you can get top value for him, that that's one thing. If you have a banged

01:54up Jalen Brown, who's only getting older and older every year, I understand he's not

01:57old, still in his twenties, but I just say, keep him if you're Billy Chisholm, because

02:02I don't think that you're going to get the value you once hoped you'd get.

02:05I want your thoughts on this this morning because there are serious decisions ahead

02:10for the Celtics. They are going to owe, when it comes to payroll, 12 guys, 250

02:15million dollars next season if they stood pat there and they're going to owe about the

02:22same when it comes to the luxury tax.
