00:10is now saying that there will be a bidding war for Jalen Brown underway as we speak, and he could
00:19be traded as early as today, and that is what Windhorst is saying.
00:29So, Chime has the actual audio, which I believe is from ESPN moments ago.
00:34Boston is in a situation where they have put for the whole world out there, Jalen Brown, their finals MVP.
00:39They, of course, knew it was possible they were going to lose to Miami.
00:41They wanted to win.
00:42They made a very strong offer, but they were not willing to put their entire team in.
00:46They were not willing to put other pieces in because on the other side of this trade, they had to
00:50have a team.
00:51And so now what I expect to happen is a bidding war for Jalen Brown and other teams in the
00:55league.
00:56In the most recent days, teams have been preparing for this eventuality, that it wouldn't be the Boston Celtics who
01:01won the Giannis sweepstakes, and that there would be a Jalen Brown market.
01:05And so now we're going to watch that.
01:06I think it'll take some time to play out, but if there's a draft pick involved, it could happen today.

01:17I mean, now you're going to get nothing from him.

01:46So if you're the Boston Celtics, now you're just selling off Jalen Brown for less.
01:52I'd rather you, as the Celtics, keep Jalen and say, we're going to sell off D. White, P. Pritch, some
01:59of those other young guys,
02:00which then I would drive my head through a brick wall to get, like, a big or something along those

02:08Like, if you're somebody who believes that Brad Stevens – and a lot of people believe this,

02:17And then Jalen Brown may have said, yeah, go ahead.
02:20You want to – if you're going to go for it, you're going to try to do this deal fine.
02:23But I want to be dealt somewhere else after because I don't want to be with an organization that is
02:29willing to offer me up.
02:30And I believe that.
02:32And so you may have no choice.

03:15Well, then to Curtis's point, then you take yourself out of the race and you don't continue to go down

03:27I would think that Brad Stevens, to your point, Greg, is saying, all right, we are – if he has
03:33an open-door policy,
03:35he's talking to Jalen and saying, yeah, we're actively trying to trade you.
03:38And Jalen goes, okay, I want out no matter what.
03:42And if you're Brad Stevens, you got to say, hey, Jalen, if we move you to Milwaukee,
03:47are you going to sign an extension with them?
03:49And he says, absolutely not.
03:51Then you go, all right, we need now to bring in a third team.
03:53And if you're Brad Stevens, you have to go down that road rather than going, all right,
03:58well, then that Milwaukee deal would be off the table.
