Do Sox have a reliever issue? Bullpen lets another game get away, after Crochet pulled. #MLB Casas had successful surgery- and will be out for rest of '25. What will Sox do at 1st?

00:00The rain is a constant, as is the Red Sox bullpen blowing saves, Curtis.

00:06That was awful.

00:09I know the worst loss this season was the 6-0 lead that they blew in Toronto,

00:14but the second worst loss may have been pitching to Vlad,

00:17and then yesterday you have Crochet on the mound,

00:20a game that you absolutely need, and the bullpen blows it.

00:25There's just, I don't know.

00:27I don't know what's going on.

00:28I think we have the beginnings of some drama in the front office,

00:32and things might get interesting pretty quick when it comes to how they fix the situation at first base.

00:39They're not winning the games that they should be winning.

00:43And so it's May.

00:45It is.

00:46I'm always told it's baseball, and it's early.

00:52I guess I will continue to defer judgment until such point as we get to July 1st or June 15th or whatever.

01:07I just, there are times when I look at this baseball team and I'm like,

01:14this is, that's a game you should have won and a series that you should have won.

01:19And they're adding up a little bit.

01:21But with regard to what is going to happen at first base,

01:25we will get to, during they said it at 7.20, what Craig Breslow said over the weekend about keeping all options open.

01:35And it seems like Tristan Kassas is done for the year, certainly.

01:42Yeah.

01:42And so, in some ways, I guess that solved, maybe that solved the problem for you.

01:47I think it did.

01:48Like, now it just depends on who's the person you put there on a daily basis.

01:53And you don't have to now answer the questions no more of, like, how patient are you going to be with Kassas?

02:00When are you going to think about maybe making other decisions?

02:02I think it ultimately was laid out for you.

02:05Now the next thing becomes just who's the guy that you're putting there.

02:09We can get to it later, and it may be somebody's lead.

02:12But Curtis is sort of alluding to this issue that is going to pop up with Rafi Devers and moving Rafi Devers over there.
