00:36When Jim Steinman actually wrote the first album, Bat Out of Hell, it was supposed to be a musical
00:40Oh wow
00:40And he couldn't really get the money behind it, and so it was kind of like this moment of
00:46Oh jeez, let's just record it so I have a recording
00:48And they made the album, and the album like accidentally blew up
00:52It was amazing, yeah
00:53And that's kind of how it all started
00:54So all of his albums were very much intended for a musical
00:57So in 2017, they started to actually put it together
01:01And then there's been many different versions
01:03There's a three and a half hour version
01:05Wow
01:05Nice and long, you know, bring a sleeping bag and just go through it
01:10And then all the way down to our version, which is 90 minutes
01:13And so they're, and they're currently remounting it for West End in London right now
01:17They just finished their tour

01:20And it's kind of like this post-apocalyptic world where it's this crazy city and it's ruled

01:35And we have a daughter named Raven who's turning 18 at the beginning of the show
01:39And there's this gang, a little motorcycle gang that, you know, kind of wreaks havoc in our city
01:44And their leader is Strat
01:46And they're all 18 forever, kind of like the Lost Boys and Peter Pan
01:50And the Strat and Raven fall in love and chaos ensues

01:59One of the reasons being, we have only heard great things about the show
