00:23take yeah it is absolutely so i heard a lot about your business which is sweet treat sensation
00:32yes ma'am so you went from baking for your co-workers to selling out in two hours
00:38what was the what was that exact moment where you realized okay this is more than just cookies
00:44because i've always baked cookies for my family and close friends but then once i started happening
00:50at work and it was like oh i bought the ingredients and then they sold out so fast i'm like oh all
00:55the cookies are gone everybody's loving them they're raving about them more and more people start
00:59wanting them and i'm like oh i think i might be on to something big here let me make some more yeah
01:05do it again and it just kept growing and growing from there so i was like okay it was not nothing
01:11that i planned it just fell my niche came about so you just started off with like regular flavors and
01:16just grew or what made you choose the flavors like well i always made the chocolate chip that was
01:20always number one because that's the number one cookie and then i would have someone ask me oh do
01:25you know how to make oatmeal raisin i'm like okay i can check into it and then i had a person at work
01:30ask me about snickerdoodle and i'm like snickerdoodle i've never heard of that i was like i'll look into it
01:34i'll see and then i seen how simple it was to make a little change with the sugar cookie yeah and made that
01:41and they loved it and people love the snickerdoodle because there's something about that cinnamon that
01:47gives it a pop and my cookies are soft so it really makes it flavorful it's really good and they love
01:53it it looked it looks it looks soft from the packaging because you brought us some some treats
01:58to to eat and try right absolutely make sure you show you got to make sure you show us some of them
02:03too when you get a chance but yes it's really good and then please tell me what's your favorite one
02:08husband you got to make sure you tell us what's your favorite flavor because when your wife started
02:12this how did you feel about this well it was it started off as like like she said like a little
02:16hustle yeah so it's one of those things where she kept you know doing it more and more and it was like
02:20okay well you know we probably need to upsize something so why don't we just do some new ovens
02:25right a bigger oven so we can do more and once we did that we realized that okay well like she said
02:30we got something that we can start here and try and make it a business so she's real passionate about
02:35making the cookies and making the dough and everything so if you you know passionate about
02:39it go ahead and let's see what we can do with it absolutely and it just kept growing and growing and
02:43we got to the place we are now it was like okay let's see if we can make this happen so my favorite
02:48cookie is pretty much several of them actually i'm gonna say you're the test taker yes i know you love
02:54all of them the double chocolate is really really good and also the snickerdoodle is really really good
03:00and um but my favorite now is the vegan the banana really the vegan ones those bad boys is nice
03:08they're good it's just you wouldn't expect that flavor from a cookie like that yeah because they
03:13don't have no yes with the vegan no artificial no preservatives they were in there so they're soft
03:20flavorful and you know you can eat them you know you keep them airtight they'll stay for a couple of
03:27weeks oh and they'll still be soft i've had people that have said that i'm like your cookies was i
03:32found my cookie in my bag and it was still soft what did you do to these cookies and i'm like
03:38really it was that long and that's hard because listen subway is my favorite place for cookies
03:44and it'll be hard after a couple hours i'm like hey i gotta heat it up and right yeah you don't like
03:48when you gotta heat it up because then it takes away from what the cookie tastes like absolutely absolutely
03:53i i love that and it's just like you you're a true hustler okay let me just start off with that
03:58because you don't wait on a storefront okay you do pop-ups parking lots farmer markets i mean
04:05why is it so important to meet people where they at because people are everywhere and so i've had
04:12people that told to tell me where where i should go where i should be and i listen to my customers and
04:17the customers are the key they're the one that drive the business and so i appreciate all of my
04:22customers i have customers that go on my social media and follow me and see where i'm gonna be
04:27at i had a customer that was out of town and said oh we seen where you was at we had to come to the
04:31taco festival we had to come we are wherever you at we come to get our supply and i appreciate all my
04:37customers i love them yes because they become loyal friends family right they start looking for us
04:43yeah that's the thing about it so i love that they start looking for us now are you guys working on a
04:47storefront do you have one are you still like i'm just gonna meet them where they at that's the best way
04:50now that is the long-term goal okay but my first term is the trailer we got the trailer coming oh
04:56i love it gonna be the number one and uh more trailers after that when we have our customers
05:01all book their events and parties oh you really gonna be where they at yeah so eventually yes the
05:06storefront is our long-term goal we do plan to do that down the line for sure i love that i love it
05:12so for somebody that's listening right now who's baking at home and they're scared to charge what would
05:17you tell them don't be afraid because when you are passionate with something and you're giving
05:23someone something that they really enjoy people are more than happy to apply pay for the good premium
05:30items that they are receiving so do not be afraid go ahead and do what you need to do
05:35yeah so that you can make your money and you can have your customers happy and you continue on having
05:39more and more customers that is the key yeah follow your dreams if that's something you're passionate
05:43about just doing yeah just step out there because some people are scared me me myself personally if
05:48i even thought about going out doing something i'm passionate about the first thing you think about
05:51is okay are they gonna pay for this right you know you know your family and friends are always
05:55the first one to support you so you always worry like how is it really gonna like take off for me
06:00that is true i agree and i was nervous now i mean i'm gonna keep it real yeah i was nervous at first
06:06and it was funny because i had to upgrade you know you start i had my little cookies little small
06:10cookies in the sandwich bag and that was selling them that way and then i elevated up like okay
06:18did i put them in the love boxes and a variety and you know so my customers was helping me elevate
06:24by telling me what they want i always listen to my customers and give them what they're asking for
06:29and so that's how and that's how the trailer has became about you know my customers we will be at
06:34events they will be asking you got some milk you got some water you got some coffee so they don't want
06:40just the cookies they want to know what else you got with it it's like it'd be perfect if you had
06:43all this to go with it i'm like yeah we we don't we have a pop-up here we just got a tent but that's
06:48okay i'm taking note i'm writing it down so then we have so many people that have asked and i'm like
06:53you know what we got a a good opportunity here we can go on and get us a trailer and we could put those
06:59things on the trailer and what better way of having the cookies than freshly baked because i pride the
07:04business one freshly baked cookie for all your tasty senses so with it being on a trailer we are
07:11going to be baking on a trailer so you're going to be getting the cookies freshly done out of the
07:16oven nice and hot even the moistest you can get it and then you're going to have some ice cream to
07:21go with it and some toppings now that is good that because i love me a good treat with my ice cream okay
07:28so so a cookie with it and i'm like i'm sold you can have an ice cream sandwich real quick yes and
07:34look how soft it is it'll go perfect with some ice cream absolutely and i'm a dessert lover so i'm
07:39like yeah i'm gonna have to limit my usage of course listen listen you know the rbs beast is gonna be
07:45this year a lot of stuff is happening oh we've been at the rbs rbs we are a lot of all the big events
07:50we are at the taco festivals the barbecue festivals we've done a lot of the um events at the heart plaza
07:55so our customers know where we're at and we're there to please so instead of us just having the
08:00um commercial tip we're gonna have the food truck trailer you're gonna see us and you just come
08:06right up stand in line and place your order and get exactly what you want i love it so we'll be able
08:10to see both of you whenever we go out and about right oh yes this is my partner we're okay let's
08:15see one without the other when we get bigger hopefully it can branch off and we'll both have you
08:20know we're doing our own separate thing with the with the business so but yeah that's what we plan to do
08:25and we also want to do catering also so if you're like what else would you like to add weddings
08:29parties anything like that you know we can cater around 50 people 100 people whatever you want to
08:34do we can we can service that oh i love that so see that was gonna be my next question my next
08:39question was like what what's the next thing for sweet treat sensation yes definitely the um catering
08:46option definitely with the trailer coming that's coming soon we're going to be having a launch soon
08:51so we will be um booking for all of events corporate events birthday parties anniversary
08:57parties family reunions weddings family whatever party you have you book us and we will come service
09:04all your customer all your people all your catering needs all of your needs yes i love that i'm really
09:09excited because summer is right around the corner spring is right around the corner right valentine's
09:13day is right around the corner absolutely now do you do special um you do special cookies for the
09:18the holidays like valentine's day what we have going on right now on our website sweet treat
09:23sensation.net you can go and place your order at any time have the cookies shipped right to you
09:28but we do have the uh heart shape boxes that you can order so you have a nice you have a variety of
09:35flavors that you can get it in i love this heart shape that you can have that for your special someone
09:39and then have their name put on the top have it a little blinged out on there on top of it yes you
09:44thought of everything because that was the first thing i was thinking because valentine's day is
09:47coming up you know i know christmas just passed and always wonder like you know a lot of what a lot
09:52of people women men are seasonal they like to give stuff for their loved ones when seasons are coming
09:57so it's good to know that you have different things for everybody for everything for every
10:01occasion i love that and then if you want valentine's day you get the heart shaped boxes

10:48oh absolutely some of these cookies yes they're beautiful the ones that i brought for you a lot of
10:53our um varieties are pretty popular we have our chocolate chip cookie is always the number one cookie
10:59i believe it number one you can't never go wrong with chocolate what about double double chocolate
11:02yes we have double chocolate in there i love double chocolate and then i even have the gourmet um the gourmet
11:08version of the chocolate chip is a turtle and that is a chocolate chip cookie with pecans and caramel in
11:16there i have marley before you pecans and caramel and they have the chunky chocolate so these that's
11:21another good one here you got the snickerdoodle oh got the m&ms my son loved the m&ms he he called dibs on
11:28those as soon as you went to the bathroom yes the kids love the m&ms and they also love the reese's pieces
11:34oh yes that is definitely a good one that's definitely a go-to for them and then another
11:38one of our gourmet are the red velvet the red velvet that has some um i love red velvet cream cheese uh
11:43chips in there these are very good to it and they're very good to have with your ice cream
11:47double chocolate you got your oatmeal raisin oh yes oh i love i said a little chocolate you know
11:52i'm taking at home oh i'm taking at home yes and then one of our newer ones are the banana oatmeal
11:59that's the one it's very very good oatmeal with that banana twist to it reminds you of like a
12:04banana bread so yes i might do a video with these you might have to try some of these you know how
12:09they do the influencer trying to be an influencer this year yes yes yes so we just got a few of them
