00:18Mark, our brethren, last six and a half years,

00:22been in here on the freak show.

00:30you'll hear Mark on our QIK country station.

00:35He is trying out for the chair that was left by our brother Dave McKay.

00:43And he has an opportunity to be the host of his own show

00:47and move on and do country,

00:50which everybody who knows him knows he sings country in the car

00:54all the time, loves country, is a country boy of heart.

00:58And we rock.

01:00I mean, we absolutely rock with that.

01:03What we will say to be 100 with everybody, you know,

01:07is that we are kind of miffed at him because he ghosted us.

01:16And I thought about this yesterday.

01:18I was like, because I don't want anybody to think there's,

01:20because I'm not mad at Mark for wanting to do better.

01:24Um, I'm disappointed in him because he just like ghosted us

01:27and like ain't been rocking with us since he's been down there,

01:30down the hall.

01:30Yeah, we, we thought we would have more of a conversation about the whole thing.

01:38And even with, with the audience, I would have loved to have, uh,

01:41like a best of Mark or some kind of finality.

02:09Me and Mark have yet to discuss him wanting to go do something else.

02:19Like, like I got a phone call from his new guy who isn't his boss yet.

02:26But he's like, he would like to try out, you know,

02:28and he wants to do other things.

02:35And then I called him over the break.

02:48So I got off the phone.

02:51I felt like a woman who has dated a man for six years and then got ghosted because I was

04:22And then, so we talked like yesterday cause he came to see me.

04:27And he was like, oh man, you know, um, it's, I just, you know, I know you knew and I'm like,

04:38So now you don't want to talk to me about your new dreams.

04:41You want to just go both ghost out on me in the audience, but now you want me to game

05:12And like, it's been bosses that have been in that seat and have won with that, with

05:19And he was like, well, what else do I need to do?

05:31And honestly, I don't feel bad 100% about saying this because this was a lot of the things

05:36that I said to Mark personally.

05:38And, but one of the things is, it's not just the way he left, but it was also a lot

05:44of unanswered questions that, that remained like personally, I'm picking Meredith and

05:50I are doing a lot of what Mark, his job, but we didn't know if like, if it was a tryout

05:55and you're coming back or is it a tryout and you're done no matter what there's a, there's

06:01also a position open at night.

06:02So is it okay if the morning doesn't work, are you going to try it for the night show

06:07or is that, and that's what I, I didn't know either.

06:09And I'm the boss.

06:10I'm like, how do I not know what you, what you planning?

06:13And then I was, so then I had to make the decision and talk to his boss, like saying,

06:16yo, if he don't get this morning to show, he, it would be dope at night.

06:19Cause you know, he's a drinker.

06:20He likes to have sex.

06:22And I'm like, so it'd be a really good look, you know?

06:25So now I'm lobbying for him.

07:57And he was like, dude, I've just gotten to a part of my career where I'm like, yo, when am I going to get a chance to flourish?

08:02And this was a great opportunity.
