00:18Big Lynx Rhythm, we had no idea what it would end up being.
00:23Came into the studio with a clean canvas, just decided to work on something new.
00:29And so as I was building on the chord progression and the guitar ideas and the bass and all that,
00:35Kevone was behind me and he was like, why don't you try to add that little zest sample,
00:39the little zest tabla thing.
00:42So I was like, all right, cool, we'll try it.
00:45And then when we put that into the instrumental, that's when we knew that, yeah, we were onto something.
00:51Kevone and Corey Hart, otherwise known as Full Blown Entertainment, says
00:56their brand of music is inclusive of multiple genres.
01:00We used to go down South to Precision Productions to record R&B songs.
01:05And those days, soca was never on our radar.
01:09And every time we go, Casey and Nikolai would be like, you all have some talent, you all don't do soca.
01:14And we were like, nah, that's not our vibe. And every time, same answer, nah, that's not our vibe.
01:19But then this one time in particular, he gave us a CD with three instrumentals.
01:24One was the Anthony's Rhythm. And he said, you know, just try, just see what you come up with.
01:29And so Kevone had the CD and he went home and I guess that one in particular stood out to him.
01:36And he wrote Vibes Garden.
01:38They've been writing for some of soca music's biggest names for more than a decade.
01:42And for Carnival 2025, well, they've struck gold once again with the Big Link's Rhythm.
01:48Throughout our songwriting careers, we have been able to work with Marshall for the longest period of time.
01:56We started working with him.
01:58So we really have a good working relationship, good understanding of how he wants to present himself,
02:06what he wants to say, especially now at this stage in his career as well.
02:13So I think that was probably the easiest one to do.
02:17Well, after our own song, Kes is always open to working with us.
02:23We really enjoy working with him and we actually were able to meet in the studio to start writing that song,
02:31which is always a plus for us.
02:33Now with the Young Brother, that was the hardest one, for sure, because we never worked with him before.
02:39And I really thought that he would write his own song.
02:43I did not know that he would want us to write for him.

03:10and promise even more music exploring other genres.
03:14What comes natural to us may not be what people hear from us a lot of the times in terms of our writing and stuff like that.
03:22So during that time when there was no carnival or anything like that, no distractions,
03:27we just started writing and making music and doing things that came naturally to us.
03:34And the fact is that a lot of the artists we work with, they probably would not sing those songs.
03:41So we started thinking about, well, why don't we do it?
