Max's supporters gathered outside Lisburn and Castlereagh Council buildings this evening
00:07
ahead of the Environmental Committee meeting to call for transparency and to call for the
00:13
release of Max's independent third-party assessment, the report and the outcome. It
00:21
seems like such a basic ask, given the Council were so quick to publicly announce the results
00:27
of the prior assessments, that they did not do this for Max's independent third-party
00:32
result. It's even more disappointing that the Council issued a statement momentarily
00:37
before the demonstration was due to begin. What became clear during the Council meeting
00:44
was that the independent assessment report would not be shared with the public nor with
00:50
councillors within the Council. In addition, Max's visitations of potential future family
00:58
would not be supported by the Council. We'll now look to follow the legal proceedings which
01:05
have been lodged today and we won't give up.
