A private party was held at the Barley Mow in The Sands, near Farnham, to celebrate the pub's community buyout. Guests included shareholders, the mayor of Guildford and local MP, Jeremy Hunt.

00:34If you want to invite a cabinet minister, you've got to do it at least six months in advance.

00:38If you want the foreign secretary or the prime minister, it's at least a year in advance.

00:42So it was lovely to get a call from Peter on Tuesday asking if I was free.

00:46And surprisingly enough, I am.

00:50Thank you to Helen and Lee for being the landlord and landlady,

00:56because you're going to do a fantastic job and we're so grateful for the warmth that you bring to the role.
