Barley Mow reopens

Gary Selby talks about the exciting plans for The Barley Mow after the community buy-out of the village local in The Sands, near Tilford.

00:00When we open in two and a half weeks it's going to be a wet pub so it's

00:05going to be drinks and snacks basically because the kitchen will be out of

00:08action. Trying to get the lines clean, we've got to get some booze in, we've got to get

00:12suppliers for various bits and bobs. We're going to do a deep clean of the

00:16property, we're going to knock out some of the some of the kitchen to make the

00:22kitchen fit for the purposes of serving great food. We're taking collective

00:27responsibility for these sorts of things but you know what, that's a good

00:30thing. It's our pub and it will be fun because we'll be doing it together for

00:34our pub. But the most important thing that you can do is use the pub.
