A $2.5 million fire in Tobago, this time in Mt. Pelier. The four bedroom villa Zatara Escapes was 95 % destroyed by fire on Monday night, this comes on the heels of an arson attack on Monday where four cars and a structure were destroyed by fire. More from Elizabeth Williams.

00:00Tracey McVean Garcia, a 61-year-old businesswoman of Adelphi Heights Mason Hall, said that around
00:0711.06 p.m. on Monday, she received information that her guesthouse, Zatara Escapes, located
00:15in Montpelier, Tobago, was on fire.
00:17A few minutes later, she arrived at the premises and saw it enveloped in flames.
00:23The fire service arrived on the scene a short while later.
00:27Ms. McVean Garcia said her four-bedroom villa was completely destroyed.
00:33One neighbor told TV6 what she experienced.
00:58The smoke began to get stronger, so I was in my bedroom.
01:06The woman said her room was filled with smoke.
01:09I had to go outside to get some air because the whole room started to get smoky.
01:16So when I went outside, then I realized that the smoke was coming from down below in the
01:27gully by me.
01:28And then I said, no, it has to be the guesthouse that is on fire, right?
01:35So you know, I woke up my sons and I told them, I said, let's go down the road and see
01:40what's going on.
01:42So when I came down, I saw the villa was engulfed in flames.
01:50The estimated loss is $2.56 million and comes on the heels of a fire in Golden Lane, Tobago,
01:57on Monday, where four cars were torched.
