Dr. Delmon Dexter Baker is the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tobago Regional Health Authority. He assumed office on January 3rd, 2025 and got right down to business. More in this Elizabeth Williams report.

00:00The new CEO of the TRHA, Dr. Delman Baker, also served as a Member of Parliament and
00:07Minister from 2010 to 2015 before returning to the TRHA in 2017 as a DMO, his substantive
00:15position up to the time of this appointment.
00:19On his first day on the job, CEO of the TRHA, Dr. Delman Baker said, the greatest responsibility
00:25of this organization's chief servant is harnessing the unlimited potential of the
00:31human resources available to meet Tobago residents' right to quality health care.
00:37Dr. Baker is no stranger to the TRHA, having worked with the organization for over 12 years.
00:44According to the TRHA, Dr. Baker brings to the position a wealth of knowledge, training
00:51and experience, including a Bachelor of Science in Medicine and Surgery, two MBAs with specializations
00:58in Hospital and Health Services Management and Innovation, Marketing and Leadership,
01:05four years as a House Officer and six years as a District Medical Officer DMO.
01:11Dr. Baker also acted as Hospital Administrator at the Roxborough Hospital from September
01:1830, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
