There's a change at the top of TSTT.

The company has confirmed the appointment of Reza Hosein as the new Acting Chief Executive Officer.

He takes over from Keino Cox, who has concluded his tenure in the post.

00:00The Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago says Reza Hussain is now at the helm as acting Chief Executive Officer,
00:08effective August 18th following Kino Cox's departure.
00:12Hussain is said to be a telecommunications executive with more than 27 years in the industry.
00:17At TSTT, he has held senior leadership positions across several core areas of business, including technology, residential services, wireless solutions,
00:26consumer sales, service delivery and assurance, and customer experience and marketing.
00:32On the academic side, Hussain holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, specializing in communication systems, and a Bachelor
00:41of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from the University of the West Indies.
00:48He also spent five years working internationally with Lucerne Technologies in the United States in wireless engineering and professional services.
00:56TSTT says Hussain's immediate priorities will be maintaining organizational momentum and advancing the company's transition, which focuses on digital capabilities,
01:08customer value, and diversifying revenue.
01:11Chairman of TSTT, Koen Das, welcomed Hussain's appointment, saying, quote,
01:16The board is confident in his leadership as TSTT continues to advance its strategic priorities and accelerate its transformation from
01:25a telco to a techco, end quote.
01:29As for Hussain, he indicated that he's eager to take up the challenge.
