00:04the Amazfit T-Rex 3 might just be the device for you.

00:08Hi, I'm tech writer Matt Mohan-Hickson and this is my quickfire review of the T-Rex 3

00:13with a few things that I liked and a few that I didn't. You can read my full thoughts in the

00:17article below. So starting with the likes, it's really easy to set up. There's an app that you

00:22just download from your appropriate app store, there's a QR code, scan it. It was all paired

00:28up with my phone within about five minutes. The battery life is amazing. I, from the first

00:34charge, it lasted about four days, which was including, you know, real heavy duty use,

00:38including wearing it overnight to track my sleep. I really like the design of the watch,

00:44like the watch face. It's really beautiful. I think it looks like a classic watch, but

00:49also really shows all the key information. So your battery, your steps, your current heart rate,

00:56the weather, which is really cool. It's really sturdy. It feels like a proper watch, like the

01:03strap feels substantial. It doesn't feel like it's going to break when I'm exercising. I've

01:09never worried about that. So that's really good. And the sleep function is really cool. Like it's

01:16really good to sort of have data to back up what you're thinking about, whether you've had a good

01:20night's sleep or not, and not just whether you're yawning on a morning. Now for the things I don't

01:26like, I personally like the design and how sturdy it is, but it's not for everyone. It's quite big,

01:33so if you've got smaller wrists, it's not going to look good on there. So that's something to

01:37consider. You might want to see if you can get, you know, get to a shop and try it out first.

01:43And then also a dislike. While I do really like the sleep functions,

01:47I sort of, it's weird to wear a watch to bed. Like I've never wore a watch to bed before unless,

01:53yeah, by mistake. So that took a bit of getting used to and I'm still probably not used to wearing

01:58a watch at night. But yeah, it's minor gripes. It's really good. I really recommend it,

02:03especially if you're looking for like a health-focused watch. Do consider the T-Rex 3

02:08if you're thinking about getting a new smartwatch this autumn.
