00:16with the media holds in heightening the visibility and impact of tourism initiatives.

00:36That's why I think as Mr Das and our teams will be there to discuss and see how do we

00:42can focus for the domestic tourism.

00:44As a matter of fact, during the COVID, domestic tourism is the one supported by the industry

00:52Make it all, most of the industry player floating during that period.

00:57Foreign tourists is equally important but the domestic tourism, we needed to support

01:01them.

01:02Without them, it's very difficult for us to survive.

01:05I'm promoting our people to travel within the country.

01:09Otherwise, every long weekend, every long queue at the border, Malaysians are traveling,

01:14going to our neighboring country.

01:17This is how we wanted to promote lesser known destinations.

01:23And asking and telling the Malaysians, a lot of product, I mean destinations where

01:28you can visit within the country.

01:30He called on media organizations to utilize their reach effectively to showcase Malaysia's

01:36tourist spots.

01:37He said partnering with the media is a calculated step towards the rejuvenation of the tourism

01:43industry and ensuring that domestic travel initiatives have widespread benefits throughout

01:49the country.
