00:21The carnival, held at Plaza Merdeka on Saturday,
00:24also brought together an array of traditional cuisine from the peninsula, Sabah, and Sarawak.
00:31As the third edition of the touring roadshow, the event was jointly organized by Tourism Malaysia and Star Media Group,
00:38forming part of a nationwide initiative to boost domestic tourism
00:42while delivering engaging, family-oriented experiences to communities across the country.
00:48Datin Rafida Idris, Tourism Malaysia's Deputy Director General of Planning,
00:54officially launched the carnival on Saturday,
00:57praising Sarawak's exceptional participation as a testament to the state's unwavering dedication
01:03to advancing tourism development while safeguarding its rich cultural heritage.

03:08because there's people from lots of different backgrounds here,
03:12and it's really very, very good to promote your local beautiful town and country.

03:33The event features a total of 74 booths from exhibitors,
03:37comprising 28 tourism players such as hotels and resorts.
