00:00Jerry Judy, to me, doesn't take any of these boxes.
00:06Jerry Judy last year caught just 54 balls out of 87 targets.
00:09Now we can talk about the quarterback play of Russell Wilson at times, okay, fine.
00:13But he only had two touchdowns last year.
00:15Jerry Judy finishes wide receiver 50 last season.
00:19Before that wide receiver 21, but before that wide receiver 89.
00:22And he has been a guy that has missed some time here and there too, but I'm not going
00:25to hang that on him.
00:26Football's a tough game.
00:27What I am going to hang on him is the offense, and it's a mess of the Cleveland Browns.
00:33I have no idea how it's going to operate, at what level it's going to operate.
00:37And I'm not saying that you have to invest a lot in him.
00:39But what happens is you're looking at a guy like Jerry Judy, going in the same rounds
00:43as guys right now, like Tyler Lockett, or Courtland Sutton, or I kind of know what Courtland
00:48Sutton's role is going to be.
00:49Brian Thomas Jr.
00:50Interesting guy.
00:51Even, you know, sometimes people reach for Jerry Judy closer to where Ladd McConkie's
00:55going.
00:56He's upside, guys with opportunity, and Jerry Judy is a guy you're going to take over them.
00:59I don't get that.
01:00I don't understand it at all.
01:02And just because he's a well-known name that has a pedigree at this stage in his career,
01:07once a team jettisons you, they kind of tell you what, you know, everybody should know
01:11already about you, which is, you know, you're not an asset that we value.
01:15And I can't value an asset on a team that I just don't understand where it's going.
01:19And speaking of that, and the Cleveland Browns, Deshaun Watson is another big reason for that.
01:24I don't know if Deshaun Watson is going to be the starter.
01:26If you ask me, who's going to play the most games of quarterback for the Bears this time,
01:29excuse me, for the Browns this year, I think it would be Winston.
01:32If I really, if you held me to it because of the health of Watson, because of the performance
01:37of Watson, and we can make excuses all we want, but I think the time has come where
01:41we no longer make excuses for Deshaun Watson.
01:44I think that is done.
01:46And I think that chasing a couple years ago of the pinnacle of what Deshaun Watson was
01:53should be left by the wayside.
01:55It is done.
01:56It is over.
01:57If he has a good season, let it happen on somebody else's team, not yours.
02:00Even in super flex leagues here, where you're desperate for some quarterback play, I'd rather
02:04go with the veterans like Aaron Rodgers or Matthew Stafford in that same range easily
02:08every single time than over Watson.
02:10I know they're older.
02:11I don't care.
02:12They're more productive or possibly productive at this stage in 2024 than Watson is.
02:17So again, I'm going to tie those two guys together.
02:19Overall, the Browns are a bit of an enigma to me.
02:21And I don't like that when I'm trying to make fantasy draft capital work.
02:25And then the last guy that's dead to me is Dallas Goddard.
02:28And the reason is Goddard is another guy, too, starting to show some tread on the tires.
02:33A guy that feels like at this stage of his career is becoming less of an important cog
02:37in this offense.
02:39You have A.J. Brown, you have Devonta Smith, and now you've added Saquon Barkley, who's
02:44very capable of catching those mid-range targets that usually were sitting there for Dallas
02:48Goddard.
02:50So for me, I just don't see the path for Dallas Goddard to be a tight end one this year.
02:54Maybe on the very fringe, but for me, I'm going to be out if I'm looking at deeper leagues
02:58and taking shots at tight ends.
03:00I'd rather take it on guys like Pat Friermuth at this stage in his career than a guy like
03:03Dallas Goddard.
03:04So those guys, Judy, Watson, Goddard, for me this year, just not happening.
