00:05i went there i watched all the games he played i thought yeah maybe in seven years this guy's

00:10gonna be amazing but mike here's what i would add i don't blame anthony richardson at all look how

00:15much money this guy's got what is he well it didn't work out it didn't work out what is what

00:19are these kids supposed to do maybe the nil money will change things and kids will stay but at the

00:25time that richardson came out this did not exist i don't blame him whatsoever

00:28oh no i mean he was encouraged uh that he would be a high draft pick he went to the combine and put

00:36uh remarkable numbers down and and he was a high draft pick so when when a guy is is sort of coerced

00:43into this and then that doesn't work out that's frustrating uh because he's gotten bad information

00:47but anthony richardson information was good he he was told he would be a high draft pick and he became

00:53one the problem is how are you developing that player once you get him in house and to put him

01:00out as a rookie with what he had put on tape as a collegian was absurd on the part of the colts

01:07use him here and there and maybe get him the feel for what it's like to be in an nfl game okay i get

01:13that that's that's probably a good idea maybe on a third and long let him use his arms and legs and

01:19all of that uh but to to make him the regular starter on day one was absolute uh absolutely

01:25ridiculous and they're they're reaping the uh the uh the failure there uh and now they're going

01:32forward with another player uh who while he may be more reliable than anthony richardson i think we've

01:39seen uh that he had six years and only one of them was high quality so uh it may he may be a more

01:46reliable choice than anthony richardson but it's still not a great uh future immediate future for the colts
