Eight other homicides were reported over a 24 hour period beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday. The victims included a 31-year-old woman and also resulted in two men, aged 62 and 66, being injured after being struck by what police suspect to be 'stray bullets' as they were simply in the line of fire. The killings took place in communities such as Belmont, Laventille, Sangre Grande, and Maturita Alexander Bruzual reports
