00:00In this five game WNBA slate early on this camp day around
00:07the W rookies on display. Indiana's Caitlin Cork,
00:11Chicago's Angel Reese as the rookie of the year debate will
00:15continue on this Wednesday around the W. First, we head to
00:20Indiana where the Fever will host the Washington Mystics.
00:24Indiana booked as a six and a half point favorite noon
00:27Eastern time tip total at 170. In Caitlin Cork's most recent
00:32game, 19 points, 13 assists, 12 rebounds, the first ever WNBA
00:38rookie triple-double in league history. What does she do today
00:41for an encore? Yeah, I think she's going to play well here
00:45against one of the worst teams in the WNBA and also a team
00:47that I believe is two and ten on the road overall. So granted
00:51it is a minus six and a half. You're going to have to win by
00:53margin, but I don't know what the Washington Mystics really
00:56are going to bring to the table today. So I do look for
00:58a big encore performance here for the Indiana Fever superstar
01:02Caitlin Clark. That's the way I roll with this. Bad road team.
01:04I don't think they're going to win. Therefore, I don't think
01:06they can cover the spread. Eight and a half assists, the over
01:09has the plus money. It's really where her game has started
01:12to pick up as the facilitation, the orchestration of the
01:15offense, the gelling with the teammates has been so much
01:18better for the Fever. If the season were to end today,
01:21Indiana would be the seventh seed in the WNBA postseason.
01:25Chicago would be the eighth seed. Caitlin Clark right now
01:29to go over that eight and a half, as I said, is plus money
01:32second most assists in the WNBA, 7.4. Clark is averaging 16.1
01:38points per game, 7.4 dimes per game, six rebounds per game.
01:43She's the only player in the WNBA that is averaging more
01:47than 16 points, seven assists, and six rebounds, a historic
01:51rookie campaign. He could say the same though, of course,
01:54in the Windy City for Angel Reese, 13 consecutive double
01:58doubles. Now the all-time record for the most in a row in WNBA
02:02history, a single season or spanning multiple seasons moving
02:06past Candice Parker's previous mark of 12 straight from the
02:102009 campaign into early 2010. Chicago a six and a half point
02:16home favorite today against the Chicago Sky. Angel Reese,
02:20will she have 14 straight double doubles? Yes, when you're
02:24chasing history here, it's very important and you know going
02:26into the game, never trust anybody who probably tells you,
02:28hey, we'll just let it happen at this point. No, when you're
02:31running with history, you're aiming for that goal, you know
02:33exactly what your points are, you know exactly what your
02:36rebounds are. However, Chicago Sky favored by six and a half
02:38points today, which is interesting as I'm talking about
02:40some of these home road splits. You take a look at just straight
02:43up at home for the Chicago Sky on the season, three and seven
02:46overall and favored by six and a half points. I'll take the
02:49Atlanta Dream in this one with the points, but I also still
02:52think that if you're betting that double doubles market,
02:54she's going to, Angel Reese is going to get another double
02:56double, no doubt in my mind. Her rebounding prop 13 and a
03:00half, Reese leads all the WNBA with nearly 12 boards per game.
03:04Her points prop 14 and a hook. Atlanta has been on a slide.
03:08They've lost four straight, eight of their last 10, but if
03:11you expect a big day out of the Dream, look at the number one
03:14overall pick from a few years ago, although her points prop
03:18is not listed. Maybe Ryan Howard could be injured. We'll
03:21get some updates on that. Angel Reese to keep the double
03:24double streak intact. 15 plus games is minus 120. So that
03:29means 14 plus is already baked in. It's probably greater than
03:33a minus 250 price. They are not listing her double double
03:36number as of yet on the FanDuel Sportsbook. As we look at the
03:40Rookie of the Year odds, Caitlin Clark, still the odds on
03:44favorite, minus 600. Angel Reese at plus 350. The fifth and
03:50final game on this Wednesday in the five that we have. Ryan
03:54Howard out with an ankle. Joe Friso, our producer, great
03:57research there in real time. The Dallas Wings, really struggling
04:01and dead last in the WNBA. On the road in Phoenix against
04:04the Mercury. Phoenix, a seven and a half point home favorite.
