00:00Tom Reardon, you're the returning officer for the general election in Leeds.
00:05We've counted to being underway for about two hours now.
00:09What sort of planning has gone into tonight?
00:12It's a huge logistical exercise to organise 331 polling stations,
00:19a count venue like this, you know, receiving hundreds of thousands of ballot papers
00:26and 2,400 staff to help man the polling stations, count the ballot papers here.
00:33The team that does this is a team of 13 people
00:37and they're an incredibly talented group who are incredibly committed.
00:42They've been working on the local mayoral elections
00:45and then had to go straight into a snap general election
00:48and they've done a fantastic job as usual.
