00:00I'm a small business owner in Leeds, so more support for small businesses, you know, it's really hard with, you
00:07know, changing interest rates and it's financial situation so uncertain, fuel and things at the moment, but just additional things
00:15to help people try and run their little businesses, because that's what makes a community and a town really, and
00:21a city, are people with these great independents, so.
00:24One of the biggest issues that we've seen recently would have to be the amount of waste in the streets,
00:30whether that be in Alloway, just in general, just like in city centre and stuff like that. That's one thing.
00:35I think another topic that could be improved is the amount of theft that's happening, and just like better security,
00:41maybe like more patrol around, say, neighbourhoods or things like that, that would be great.
00:46I think housing's a big problem at the moment, just all over the country. Big housing crisis, they're not building
00:53enough social housing, there's a lot of homeless people on the streets, you know, so I think that's a priority.
01:03You see lots of student flats going up, being built, you know, which is great for them, but, you know,
01:11they should be for everyone.
01:15Taxes, especially if you've got your own company, and I suppose fuel prices, everything's going up, they're the main four
01:23things, really.
01:25So, like roads, there's a lot of potholes, you need to fix that, because I do pay road tax, we
01:28all pay road tax here, so, do you know what I mean, they should fix the roads up for us.
01:32What I would like to see is an improvement. The council's giving out some guidance of improvement on race relations
01:40in Britain. I'm afraid we've had an awful lot of said about the problems caused by migrants. Migrants do not
01:49cause our problems, racism does.
01:51I would like a council, whoever gets in, to take a strong stand against racism, and encourage tolerance and education
02:00and kindness.
02:01Me, personally, I think rubbish, rubbish is a big problem indeed, especially in certain suburban areas, there's rubbish dumped on
02:09the side.
02:09Hopefully they can look through the prices of the United Kingdom in general, it's really increasing much, and it's really
02:16hard for people to live in, because I'm a student, so it really affects me with the prices of the
02:21general stuff, like the groceries, the place I live in, and everything.
02:26It increases every year, it increases every year, so hopefully they can help decrease that prices, and that's pretty much
02:31it, yeah.
02:32People are landlords with some properties. Whoever I speak to, they are really thinking that, you know, it's not a
02:39good time for landlords, so many are trying to sell off, and anyone who is trying to, thinking of investing
02:45in housing, they're not doing it.
02:47There's not enough people in the same space that live the same, so they're all going to have different aspects
02:53of stuff, but what the country does need, it needs a better healthcare system, and a better system to look
02:58after the old.
