00:00Hello and welcome to another video, today we'll be looking at this, we'll be unboxing
00:09it.
00:10It is a special Nintendo DS, the launch edition Nintendo DS Lite console, along with the game
00:16it originally came with.
00:17So it looks like we have the charger, an accessory that you need to use for the game, the DS
00:28itself, as you can see it says Love & Berry, and the game.
00:37Let's first have a look at the game, this is Love & Berry for the Nintendo DS, and this
00:43is basically like a little dress up game, similar to New Style Boutique, which I believe
00:49is a Nintendo game, this is a Sega game, and on the DS you'd collect different clothes
00:55from different cars, you'd plug in the accessory, and you'd swipe the card to be able to actually
01:02unlock the item in the game.
01:06Let's open this up, so here is the game, it's not in the best condition, it's got a bit
01:17of, I'm not exactly sure what that is, it's a bit of dirt or something, at the edge of
01:22the label.
01:23Looks like it's got a place to write your name as well, here is the manual, this tells
01:30you how to insert it into the DS, and then you swipe the cards, just like that, I'll
01:42just put that to the side for now.
01:44Next we have the adapter, looks like it's probably a bit difficult to open up, so I'll
01:52cut to having it open, so here's the adapter, on the top it says Sega, and it's got a little
01:59spot to slide the cards in, it's a bit similar to the Nintendo e-reader for the Game Boy Advance,
02:07unlike the e-reader it's also got these little protruding little metal parts, just to hold
02:13it in.
02:14Of course this doesn't work with the game, you need to use it as an accessory along with
02:23the actual game, the Sega Card Reader, model HVC-1000, and it seems to have an unusual
02:30screw to hold it in, it doesn't seem to be the screws you'd normally get on any other
02:36Nintendo products.
02:37I've seen this type of screw before, I can't remember what it's called.
02:43These adapters, as well as being released for this game, the Sega ones were also released
02:47for the game called Mushu King, which similarly also used cards to unlock things, and there
02:54were other accessories for the Nintendo DS as well, other games also used little card
03:01readers that you would just use to scan cards, it seems to come off, I'm not sure what it's
03:09for.
03:10I think that might just be a spacer, so if you're using the DS Lite you push it all the
03:24way, but if you're using the original DS, you take it off, because I believe the original
03:28DS did have the cards going slightly further on the Game Boy Advance slot.
03:36So here's just the charger, I'll cut to having this open, you probably don't want to see
03:42me unboxing it.
03:43So here it is, just a normal DS charger, this AC adapter, it's got the model number, seems
03:49slightly yellowed, pops out like a Japanese style charger, and of course, the rest is
03:59also just the same as a normal charger.
04:02So now onto the last part, the actual DS, I can't see any easy points to cut, so I'll
04:16So I'll have to cut to this being open as well, so here it is, the Lovenberry Nintendo
04:23DS, so it's a nice pink colour, I believe it's the same colour as a normal pink DS,
04:29with L and V for Lovenberry.
04:32So this was released in a collector's edition of this game, so you can either buy the game
04:37by itself, along with some cards and the adapter, or you could also get this version, which
04:42was a limited release, that also came with this special limited edition DS.
04:46The bottom just looks like a normal DS, it's got everything the same as you'd normally
04:51get.
04:52Let's open it up, so again this looks like a normal DS, this one is slightly dirty around
05:04the hinges, but other than that it seems to be in fairly good condition.
05:10Let's turn it on, and it starts up just fine.
05:17So I'll take out the Game Boy Advance cover, it's got two, a dust cover, and pop this in.
05:27It goes this way, so you can actually scan while playing.
05:36Let's try restarting it, as you can see it says there's something inserted, but of course
05:46it isn't a game, it's an accessory, you can't actually select it, so let's try putting the
05:52game in, put that here, and as you can see it's launched into the game, it's a bit unfortunate
06:11I don't have any actual cards for it, so I'll be able to actually test it out.
06:18This is the menu, in the future I might get some cards or something, I'm not sure, but
