00:00Well, yeah, I think the secret to Sabai Sabai's success has been mainly it comes down to dedication
00:07and attention to detail and just always striving to make sure that everything is as good as
00:12we can do it and also we spend a lot of time trying to make sure the food is of a decent
00:18quality and the chefs are trained well so everyone comes to Sabai Sabai to enjoy the
00:23food and the style of Thai food we do.
00:27During my visit, I was served a Pad Thai. This emblematic dish has been honed for two
00:33decades by the husband and wife team behind this independent restaurant chain. Juri, whose
00:40family in Thailand has a strong culinary background, has overseen the business reach heights beyond
00:46even her own imagination.
00:51It felt like a big achievement for me because I didn't think I'd be in it for this long
00:56to be honest but then again 20 years gone really quickly and I've been very pleased
01:01at the progress and the outcome we've built with our business.
01:07Celebrating 20 years in business, Sabai Sabai has expanded and received numerous accolades
01:13in a challenging hospitality industry. This year marks a significant achievement worth
01:20celebrating.
01:23So to celebrate we're going to have an anniversary menu which everyone can enjoy and mainly it's
01:29from our restaurant in Mosley so we're going to be focusing the area on that but we're
01:35going to have like a couple of little celebration parties and make sure everyone's aware that
01:40we've been in Birmingham City and we have only kind of stayed within Birmingham and
01:43that's where the hometown is Birmingham and that's what we want to celebrate as well so
01:47the people of Birmingham can enjoy what we're still offering today.
01:52Yeah hopefully we can keep going for another 20 years if we have the energy to.
