00:00What are you saying for Bournemouth then? I think I am going to go with 5-0 Leeds. I'm going to go with hard for 2-1 Leeds. Maybe Semenyo scoring for them and Calvert-Lewin double.
00:18Calvert-Lewin double. He really would be off the mark then. Off and run and galloping. I'm going to say Leeds United one, Bournemouth one.
00:26I think most people would take that. I think that would be a good result. And if you could not lose against Spurs as well, I don't think there's any problems with two points in those two games.
00:38Because the fixtures after Burnley and West Ham could easily present six points. Getting ahead of ourselves.
00:44But yeah, I don't think anyone would be disappointed with a 1-1 draw. That's my kind of...
00:50No, I don't think so.
00:50But my heart is saying, you know, death or glory.
00:54And I think Gabby Goodmanson gets a goal. How good has he been? We need to talk about him.
01:00Excellent.
01:01Has he... Five games in, right? And I know that we should probably only really judge after 10 or more games.
01:07Just like I only give a player a rating if he's been on the pitch for about 10 minutes or more.
01:11But we're at the halfway point of the kind of initial judgment stage.
01:17And I already have a feeling that Gabby Goodmanson might have solved Leeds United's perennial left-back problem.
01:25I think I had a line in the play about something like 1975 was the last time Leeds had a fit left-back all season.
01:32And it seemed like most of my life we had a struggle with that position.
01:38And I love Firpo, cult hero, amazing in the championship.
01:42He didn't do it in the Premier League.
01:43Maybe he would have done this year. I don't know.
01:45I don't want to say he wouldn't because I just... I was a big fan of him.
01:48And yeah, he was like unbelievable with his assist in the championship.
01:51So I'm not going to badmouth him.
01:54But we had not solved that position for a long time.
01:57Even Barry Douglas didn't solve it when he came in with the kind of right credentials.
02:03So it is really refreshing to see a really solid left-back.
02:08And both sides, both full-backs are probably, possibly, you know, our strongest area of the pitch at the moment.
02:14Yeah, excellent signing, really good recruitment.
02:17And when you look at, you know, he was playing Champions League football last year.
02:19Sometimes I kind of think, I don't understand how we were the only ones in for him with how he's looking.
02:25And I know there was some question marks about his...
02:27He didn't get many goals and assists last year.
02:29It was only a couple off the top of my head.
02:33But when you looked at his expected assists, I think it was far higher.
02:37And you can see why.
02:38Like he obviously, he's put in quite a few balls that deserved more.
02:43The one on the weekend, there was one against...
02:46It was at Newcastle Everton at home where he put one right across to it.
02:49He's a very good solid left-back that does everything you want.
02:53The only blemish being that kind of just unbelievable...
02:56You can laugh about it now, I guess, right?
02:58Like it just maybe enough time has passed.
03:00Just that outrageous own goal.
03:03But yeah, I'm really happy with him.
03:06The kind of signing of the season is constantly like who I'm thinking it is.
03:09It's changing quite a lot week in, week out, which is good.
03:12It's a good thing to have.
03:13It's a competitive...
03:14Yeah, a competitive kind of competition that...
03:19And again, it goes back to the recruitment team.
03:21That was a very good signing.
03:23They were so keen on him that they're kind of...
03:29You have your kind of priority lists of who you would like.
03:32And they had obviously Longstaff and Diara for the centre midfield role.
03:39At left-back, they almost had a list of one.
03:43And, you know, the priority list was one man who they felt in all of Europe could do what they wanted to do.
03:51And it was Gabby Goodmanson.
03:56And I think we're already seeing why.
03:58Because he looks after business in his own half.
04:02I think what impressed me most so far this season was how he defended when Traore came on against Fulham.
04:12You know, he was so alert and switched on to when the ball was coming out to Traore.
04:18And he reacted instantly.
04:20His reaction time was excellent.
04:22Against Wolves, he wasn't really ever troubled defensively.
04:25But what I really, really enjoy about Gabby Goodmanson is when he gets the ball 25, 30 yards from his own goal,
04:34little body swerve, slalom and run inside, wins a free kick or takes leads out of pressure.
04:40You know, it's a really nice feature of his game.
04:44And the interplay with Stack and with Okafor has looked good on that left side.
04:52You know, getting stuck to make those deep runs into the channel with those great big, ridiculously long strides.
04:58It just gives leads a real presence there.
05:00So, again, we're only five games in.
05:04So we're not handing out any Player of the Season awards yet.
05:07But if he can continue in this form, then, you know, leads have themselves a Premier League left back.
