00:00Bristol City head coach Gerhard Struber has confirmed ahead of the Robins match against Hull City
00:06that Josh Stokes has picked up a broken metatarsal and will be out for at least a few months before he can return.
00:14Yeah, with Stokes we was worried.
00:19Right now we know it is a broken metatarsal.
00:22Yeah, so broken foot, his injury will cost him three months, yeah, so yeah, we are very, I feel very sorry for him.
00:36So he was in the preseason a little bit out with injury and then we realized he's on the way back and now an injury on this level.
00:45Yeah, it's bad, but yeah, it's the situation and we have to do the best right now for him that he is hopefully quick back.
00:54And especially for him because having had a pretty successful loan all of last year and he'll have been desperately keen to impress
01:02and to not get that opportunity because of an injury is doubly frustrating.
01:06Yes, of course, it's a big frustration for himself and I can feel with which ambition he would be in the training.
01:14And Bristol Rovers boss Daryl Clark has spoken after Bristol Rovers picked up their first win in the league
01:20as well as a win on penalties in the EFL Trophy.
01:23I think if we go back to last week, I thought the Tuesday night against Oldham we put in a really good performance.
01:29I thought Saturday we battled it out, decent enough first half, grind out second half.
01:35Tuesday nowhere near good enough.
01:37Listen, we can talk about, yeah, we came back into the game and we win the game on penalties.
01:41But for me, the standards that I want to be taking our club to, it was nowhere near it and the feelings were let known after the game.
01:49Yes, there was one or two promising things on Tuesday, so I don't want to be all about negative on it.
01:54But some of that performance was unacceptable and it's a good job they did respond.
02:00And they did respond second half, you know, Fabrizio comes on, scores a couple of goals, which would be great for him.
02:05And there was one or two things that, you know, you sometimes see things in those games that you've gone,
02:10OK, that's miles off it, they're miles off it.
02:12But then there's one or two where you go, OK, that's good.
