00:03 We take a look at six current ranked teams in the SEC.
00:06 Seven teams within three games of the top spot, which currently is held by
00:10 the Tennessee Volunteers and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
00:13 We just watched over the weekend an unbelievable offensive performance for
00:16 Kentucky, scoring over 115 points against Alabama in a victory.
00:21 Now they go on the road, a more defensive-minded Mississippi State team.
00:24 If we line this up with the Fame Blue Sportsbook, John,
00:27 we have a favorite here, it's Mississippi State at minus three and
00:30 a half and a total of 156 and a half.
00:32 Fresh off that big victory over the weekend for Kentucky,
00:35 what can we look forward to tonight between the Wildcats going down to
00:38 Mississippi State?
00:40 >> A complete contrast in styles.
00:41 Kentucky scored 117 points on Saturday against Alabama at Rupp Arena.
00:46 And tonight it has an appointment with the dentist himself, Chris James,
00:50 somebody who relishes in winning games 60 to 55.
00:54 But the big difference in Mississippi State this year versus last season's
00:59 team that went to the NCAA tournament and lost in the first four to Pitt,
01:02 is Josh Hubbard.
01:03 Now, there has been a lot of talk about elite freshmen in the SEC, and
01:08 many of those freshmen play at the University of Kentucky.
01:12 But it would not be an oversight then.
01:14 It would be a flat out insult to have a conversation about the best freshmen in
01:19 the SEC and not bring up Josh Hubbard.
01:22 He's averaging over 15 points a game.
01:23 He had 32 in Saturday's win at LSU for Mississippi State.
01:29 And people from the periphery are going to look at tonight's game as just another
01:33 stop as Kentucky gears up for a big run in the postseason.
01:36 I look at it as a showcase opportunity for Josh Hubbard,
01:41 one of the best freshmen in college basketball that not enough people are
01:43 talking about.
