00:03 Purdue now, John, favored with the best price at minus 9,000 to be on that one
00:07 line once again in just over four weeks when the bracket is revealed on selection
00:12 Sunday, the defending national champs, UConn minus 6,000 as well.
00:18 And then two other minus money prices, Houston at minus 500,
00:22 Arizona at minus 280 to be one seeds in the NCAA tournament.
00:26 John, do you feel there are already teams that are locked to be on that one line
00:31 come selection Sunday in just over four weeks?
00:34 >> Purdue and UConn are in great shape.
00:36 You know, Ben, as you know, I release a bracket projection every single Friday.
00:40 Purdue, UConn, Houston, and Arizona are my four number one seeds as of today.
00:45 But I wanna point this out.
00:47 If Marquette can beat UConn on Saturday in Hartford,
00:52 I would move Marquette to the one line and give the Big East a second number one seed.
00:57 I think the Big East this year has tremendous volume in the league.
01:01 I think we have three teams that have separated from the rest of the conference
01:05 in UConn, Marquette, and Graydon.
01:06 And I don't know how much NCAA tournament representation the Big East is going to
01:10 get in the NCAA tournament because we have so many teams close to the bubble.
01:15 But I think you can make the case right now that the teams at the top of the Big
01:18 East have the most national championship potential at any other conference in
01:24 the country when you look at UConn and Marquette.
01:26 I don't think there's a league in the sport that has two teams better than UConn and
01:29 Marquette right now.
01:30 >> On March 17th, we'll find out who those true number one overall seeds are.
01:35 But in the meantime, we always like to keep the focus here on who can win
01:39 the national championship.
01:40 John, we take a look at the FanBlue Sportsbook,
01:42 the leaders in the clubhouse right now.
01:43 Odds wise, UConn plus 650, Purdue plus 650, followed by Houston at nine to one.
01:48 How is this national championship picture shaping up for you?
01:52 >> Well, I think Marquette is a steal right there at plus 2000.
01:55 You're looking at a team again that has the majority of its nucleus back from last
01:59 year's team that won the Big East regular season title,
02:01 won the Big East tournament title.
02:03 Was a two seed in the NCAA tournament and
02:05 didn't have its best day in the round of 32 against Michigan State.
02:09 And you have a player in Tyler Kolick, who over the last couple of weeks has
02:14 reiterated his status as the best point guard in the sport,
02:17 trending towards a guy who could be the Big East player of the year in back to
02:21 back seasons.
02:22 Marquette right now clearly on an upward trajectory.
