00:00The L.A. Angels farm system is dominating the conversation right now when you look at the other teams in
00:05the World Baseball Classic.
00:07Number one, a guy that has gotten up to the Angels at the Major League level, Sam Aldeguerri was unbelievable
00:14for Team Italy.
00:15Aldeguerri made a start in Houston for the Italians, who have been a joy to watch.
00:19And Sam Aldeguerri, four and two-thirds of one-hit shutout ball, he punched out eight of the 15 hitters
00:26that he saw.
00:26He was nails. Najer Victor got punch-outs against Aaron Judge, what, Kyle Schwarber, and other guys?
00:35No, it was Aaron Judge, Bryce Harper. Those are back-to-back.
00:39And then he walked Will Smith and then struck out Gunnar Henderson, then came back out for the next inning
00:46and struck out Roman Anthony.
00:48And I was talking to Arum, too. He said he had a really good showing in the Arizona Fall League.
00:55There's a chance that he's in the Angels' bullpen this season, right?
01:00He's 24 years old. He's showcasing really good stuff. Will he make it? We have no idea.
01:04Does this certainly help his case when you're striking out the best of the best on the biggest stage?
01:09I think absolutely.
01:10He certainly does. He had an ERA close to five between, I think, low A and high A last year.
01:15But why can't he go to double A and then just get up to Anaheim a month in?

01:20So we're talking about a different organization here, the type of organization who ushers in prospects as quickly as possible.
01:28So if Artie Moreno and Perry Manassian are seeing this guy in the World Baseball Classic strikeout Aaron Judge,
01:34Gunnar Henderson, Roman Anthony, and Bryce Harper thinking to themselves,
01:38we don't have the best bullpen in the world. Could he help?
01:41And also, to your point about Sam Aldeguerri, 17 whiffs, 17 swings and misses in his start.
01:48Against the same lineup, Logan Webb had 10.
01:52In Tarek Skubal's start, he had 13.
01:55Just to put that in perspective, four and two-thirds, no runs, eight punch-outs, 17 swings and misses.
02:03And then, Manny Ramirez's son.

02:17He was a 17th-round pick in 24 out of American Heritage High School in South Florida.
02:22Lucas Ramirez this past year played 60 games, mostly at the Complex.
02:27He had a 772 OPS.
02:29He only hit three homers.
02:32And he has two against the United States in a single game.
02:36Lucas Ramirez stepped up and rose to the occasion, along with Najer Victor, along with Sam Aldeguerri.
02:44The Angels needed some positive PR.
02:46Apparently, Bremner looks the part early in spring training as well.
02:49They're getting some positive PR right now.
02:51And this is your opportunity to tell me, when you look at the lineup on paper, you don't hate it.
02:56And the Angels could be frisky this year.
