00:03 Man, look, I didn't think the Dolphins were gonna go in Kansas City and
00:06 crush the Chiefs or anything like that.
00:08 But I just couldn't believe what I was watching in the second half of that game.
00:11 Like their game plan and I mean, they look so good,
00:15 even though the loss against Buffalo, at least they're throwing the ball around and
00:18 putting a chain in there.
00:19 But the screen passes at the end of the game.
00:23 I mean, listen, I did not come away thinking that the Chiefs are going back or
00:26 winning the Super Bowl.
00:27 I came away with just a very poor game plan for the Dolphins going into Kansas City.
00:33 I mean, I guess, Warren, did the weather, was that the story?
00:35 Is that why things went so far south for them?
00:38 >> Well, in part it was Steve Spagnuolo's defense and
00:41 just how they came out the box.
00:42 We knew that the Miami Dolphins strategy probably out the gates was gonna be
00:47 run the football.
00:47 This Chiefs defense is worse against the run.
00:49 But what happened was the run game was getting no production.
00:52 You could tell right away the first couple of plays of the game.
00:55 Run plays, they got no yards.
00:57 They were stuffed on those run plays.
00:59 And so then it's like, what are we gonna pivot to?
01:01 And they weren't having success on the pivots at all.
01:03 Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs came out.
01:05 They were very balanced.
01:06 They were a little bit more aggressive through the air to start this game.
01:10 They had a better strategy for
01:12 how to play with this frozen surface, in my opinion, than did the Miami Dolphins.
01:17 And the key, we'll talk about it on Sunday's games as well.
01:20 You gotta pivot.
01:20 You gotta come up, what's the counter punch?
01:22 Once your first game plan doesn't work, where's that second game plan?
01:25 How quickly are you getting to it?
01:26 Because in the playoff game, where it's win or go home,
01:29 you have to get to that game plan number two very quickly.
01:33 If game plan number one is not working, the Dolphins didn't do that quickly enough.
01:37 And even when they got to game plan number two, that wasn't working either.
01:40 My bet on that game was the second half under.
01:42 It was actually the first time I've ever pre-flop bet a second half under this
01:46 year, but the Chiefs go under their second half totals a ton.
01:50 And I just felt like the way that the game was playing out with those cold
01:52 temperatures, we were gonna see a lot more running in the second half for
01:56 the Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins struggling to have a lot of success there
02:00 once Steve Spagnuolo figured them out.
02:01 So that's what we ended up seeing.
02:03 I wasn't disappointed in that, but the game really wasn't exciting.
