00:02 - Okay, DraftKings ahead of the game,
00:04 getting themselves on the stock exchange.
00:06 FanDuel is owned by Flutter.
00:08 When will it happen for them?
00:10 - It is gonna happen in January.
00:13 We weren't exactly sure when this was gonna go down.
00:15 We knew sometime in the first quarter
00:18 and now it looks like we're gonna be trading in the US
00:22 as of January 29th for Flutter.
00:25 Remember, this is not just a FanDuel listing,
00:27 this is a Flutter listing.
00:28 But Flutter is a great company to consider investing in
00:33 if you're interested in online gambling.
00:36 They have great international business
00:38 and obviously they're doing their thing in the US too.
00:41 And this is big for Flutter.
00:44 Us in the space, obviously we know Flutter,
00:49 but there are investors out there
00:51 who may have no idea
00:53 who FanDuel's parent company is right now.
00:56 And it's just not as easy as it should be,
00:59 honestly, at this point, almost 2024,
01:02 to invest in international stocks.
01:05 Bringing it over to the US,
01:07 especially for some of these institutional holders
01:11 that have rules saying that they can only invest
01:14 in US stocks, this is gonna do a lot
01:17 for the liquidity of the Flutter stock.
01:19 If you look at shortly after their earnings period,
01:23 Flutter's earnings call,
01:25 they traded about 750,000 times that day.
01:29 And that was a little bit more
01:31 than their 685,000 average volume.
01:35 DraftKings, the day of its earnings call,
01:38 48.2 million trades, Greg.
01:43 Huge disparity there.
01:45 So this is what Flutter wants.
01:47 They want more eyes on the stock.
01:49 They think there's more value that they can unlock.
01:52 And I don't know, I'm really gonna be watching
01:55 the price closely as it debuts,
01:57 'cause I think it's gonna be a good couple weeks
01:59 for Flutter.
