00:00 The violence in school.
00:02 It is alarming, not only in Trinidad,
00:05 but it is becoming alarming in Tobago.
00:07 And now what we are seeing,
00:09 the girls are fighting worse than the boys,
00:10 if you have seen the video.
00:12 It's terrible.
00:13 We have to speak out.
00:14 We have to condemn it.
00:16 And we must not condone it,
00:18 because it is getting worse.
00:19 Because when it starts in the school,
00:21 and it starts from the home,
00:22 this is where you go out in the society,
00:25 and when they get older and older,
00:27 you have the creation of the gangs,
00:29 and the violence, it starts there.
00:31 Mr. Ali is also calling for a stop
00:34 to the desecration of Hindu temples.
00:37 Coming from Tobago, from a Tobago faith-based council,
00:40 and all of us, we would like to condemn
00:43 the desecration of Hindu temples in Trinidad.
00:46 This is ongoing over and over and over,
00:52 and we have to learn to respect
00:54 each other's belief and religion.
00:56 So from our perspective, we condemn it.
00:59 He also called for the preservation
01:01 of the animal population.
01:03 If any time you pass through Golden Grove Road,
01:05 you will see about five dogs that has been loosed
01:06 there about a month ago, that has been discarded.
01:10 And animals are God's creation.
01:12 And a lot of times we see people,
01:14 they poison animals, they treat them in the worst way.
01:18 And it is important that we speak out about,
01:21 because I've seen it all the time,
01:23 because they can't speak, so we have to speak for them.
