00:00 But the thing is I've been inquiring about the validity of the letter.
00:04 They said a legal person in the Division of Settlements said this needs to be thrown away basically.
00:09 The letter is invalid. We can't use that anymore. And I find that that is crap.
00:14 Ms. Dupre said despite being chosen by random draw initially under the previous THA,
00:20 her mother did not qualify for a mortgage.
00:23 Chief Secretary Farley Augustine intervened to have clarity in this case.
00:29 You know the letter sends you to get the mortgage evaluation.
00:34 So she didn't qualify but they told her they were going to build some more houses that were in her salary bracket.
00:41 And they would inform her until later date. They never informed her.
00:45 So in other words, she was selected in the draw. At the time of her being selected in the draw, she didn't qualify for a mortgage.
00:53 She didn't. But they told her when they were going to build the tall houses,
00:57 they would tell her but no one said anything to her.
01:01 And at that time you became a co-applicant.
01:05 Ms. Dupre said letters were sent to the present THA, inclusive of administrative officials on the matter.
01:13 I did send three different letters. I sent one to the Division of Settlements.
01:19 I sent one to the Chief Administrator on your division in June.
01:24 I got no answer. I have copies of these letters and I just would like some feedback please.
