00:00 As we move down the list, Jets and Bills next game up AFC East matchup for 25 Eastern 125
00:09 Pacific kick all Buffalo in this 132 to six.
00:13 They cover the seven as the home favorite 40 being the total stays just under.
00:20 I had this under actually mark and it did not look good for a majority of this game.
00:25 It was 29 to six early in the third quarter.
00:28 Just ripped up my ticket, but sure enough, all defense down the end watching that clock
00:33 run and it does stay under.
00:36 We also had a little bit of a fight after after the game, I believe.
00:40 And hey, you can watch it here as the teams went at it heading into the locker room.
00:47 But overall, Mark, what'd you take away from this AFC East battle?
00:54 The Jets aren't good.
00:57 Did I need to tell anybody?
00:58 Let me rephrase that.
00:59 The Jets offense isn't good.
01:01 Do I need to tell anybody that?
01:04 It's one of these things where unfortunately, they they don't have a quarterback.
01:11 And unfortunately, and I can't put it all in the coach's head, but the coaching staff
01:15 now after 10 weeks of football, with Zach Wilson as the starter has not figured out
01:20 a way to devise an offense or an offensive game plan that makes him better, or that makes
01:26 him less mistake prone or that makes him somewhat serviceable.
01:30 You know, and like I said, when the news went down, we talked about on the show after week
01:35 one, if Zach Wilson is that bad, and your coaches can't make him any better, then get
01:40 him off your roster.
01:43 Like I understand you'd have to find somebody but then find somebody else.
01:47 Like I'm not sure what else you what Jet fans really can be mad about, other than the organizational
01:53 decision to not address the quarterback position at any point in time.
01:57 Because if the quarterback is that bad, and the coaches can't make him better, then it's
02:02 either the coaches, or it's the quarterback, or it's a combination of both.
02:06 But I would tell you that, in my opinion, the Jets coaches will never be blame free
02:12 for how inept they are offensively.
02:15 It's the quarterback, but it kind of ain't all the quarterback because again, I'm watching
02:19 this here in Atlanta, with Desmond Ritter and the Falcons coaching staff, like, you
02:23 know, the Falcons, even though they were losing games, they were still putting up 400 yards
02:27 of offense.
02:28 So, you know, it was Desmond Ritter's turnovers, it was some red zone issues, but the offense
02:33 was still competent.
02:34 The Jets offense isn't competent in any way.
02:38 They do nothing well.
02:39 They don't even run the ball well.
02:40 And that was something they did well last year.
02:43 So again, I get that Zach Wilson is bad.
02:47 And I'm not trying to say in any size, way, shape, or form that he's good.
02:50 But you did nothing to address the position, and you've left it in this spot for one reason
02:54 or another.
02:55 This is what you get.
02:56 So either coach better, or get the guy under center out from under center and put somebody
03:01 else in there.
03:02 It's that simple.
03:04 But you want to keep banging your head against the walls, Jet fans and Jets organization,
03:07 and looking at what's going on and going, "Oh, why aren't we getting any better?"
03:11 Well, we all know the answer.
03:13 So fix it.
03:14 Do something about it.
03:15 But to hear Robert Salas shake his head, "Oh, yeah, I just don't know.
03:19 I don't really have any answers for you."
03:21 You have answers.
03:23 You're just not going to get those answers.
03:26 But they're answers that nobody likes.
03:28 So it is what it is.
03:32 It is what it is, guys.
03:33 And it is the Jets, 4-6 on the season.
03:36 I guess still the hope out there, playing the Dolphins short week on Friday at home
03:42 as well in a big one.
03:44 We'll see you then.
03:45 Thanks, guys.
03:46 Thanks.
