00:00I really think that when you look at this year, you have such a big lump of players between 10
00:05and 20 to 1, or at least 22 to 1, that it is certainly tempting. I see some odds moving
00:12a
00:12little bit this week, but I wonder from your perspective, Brady, if you think it's one of
00:18those in that range, the Fitzpatricks, the Fleetwoods, you know, certainly Hideki Matsuyama
00:24when healthy has a good shot to win this thing. I know there was a lot of golfers who were
00:27really
00:28burned by him a few weeks ago, so I guess let's start with this. Who among the top are you
00:33landing
00:34on, your best bet among the favorites? Well, you know, you probably do want to have at least a
00:41couple of those guys on your card because the Masters is a pretty chalky tournament. I mean,
00:46look at the last four winners. Scotty Scheffler twice, Rory McIlroy, and John Rahm. Those are the
00:52top of the guys at the odds board. You know, I think Rahm has another great shot to do it
00:57again
00:57this year. A lot of people like Xander Schauffele. I went down a little bit further and landed on
01:02Cameron Young and Hideki Matsuyama. Matsuyama was a guy I bet way back when, when he was threatening
01:09to close out the Phoenix Open. And, you know, that's part of the formula of winning the Masters
01:14is having a win or a lot of really good top 10 finishes to begin the season. And when he
01:20was there
01:21contending at Phoenix, I said, you know, this is, this is my guy. He's been there, done that before
01:26one in 2021. He's won at the correlated courses, Riviera, Kapalua. And then you talk about the
01:34odds movement. Hideki Matsuyama was really in the thirties, 35 to one, what have you for all year
01:41long. And then all of a sudden now he's, you know, below 30 and as low as 20. And I
01:46think a lot of it
01:46had to do with how he performed last week at the Valero Texas Open. What's was, what has caused him
01:52problem is off the tee. And he was brilliant off the tee last week in San Antonio, 10th in driving
01:59accuracy, third and strokes gained off the tee. So if that part of his game is clicking, he is
02:06absolutely a threat.
