She would be remembered by many as a solider in the Creative Industry who contributed selflessly to the arts and culture. The Black Collar Creative Foundation was launched to preserve the memory of Janine Charles-Farray who passed away in 2022.

00:11 She was a vocalist, arts advocate, marketing strategist,
00:17 founder of the Black Collar Creative, and the list goes on.
00:22 Though no longer with us, the memory of Janine Charles-Furet
00:26 was honoured at the launch of the Black Collar Creative Foundation.
00:30 Her mother, Marva De Freitas Charles, a founding member of the foundation,
00:35 thanked the public for their support and spoke about the purpose of the foundation.
00:41 The foundation's objective is to assist creative sector entities
00:46 with their start-ups or special projects
00:50 and provide support to fully establish and sustain their ventures
00:56 in the spirit of entrepreneurship.
00:59 As the foundation's first official event and launch,
01:04 we partner with Chandelier Productions and One Vision One Voice
01:09 to present this fundraising concert.
