00:00 What are you most proud of that you achieved in this deal?
00:03 What are we most proud of that we achieved in this deal?
00:07 It's not just one thing.
00:09 It's the whole package.
00:10 It's the whole thing combined, just like our membership.
00:13 There are so many different categories
00:16 that we wanted to get something for everybody, and we did.
00:19 And we did.
00:20 I think there are things that were happening in the past that
00:22 got overlooked for so many years,
00:24 not because there wasn't a lot of strength behind it.
00:27 It just was a different membership that came up
00:30 to the forefront, and certainly a different leader.
00:32 Fran was unstoppable.
00:35 And she rallied the troops.
00:36 And while there had been some division in the past,
00:39 that just faded away.
00:41 Everybody came to the plate.
00:43 And the strongest members of our vote, of our meeting,
00:48 are the people that are behind us.
00:49 Our picket lines were out there.
00:51 They were the backbone of this whole thing.
00:53 Even though we as members were in there,
00:56 obviously getting the best deal that we possibly could,
00:59 it was hearing their voices, as you can hear tonight,
01:02 that kept us strong going, too.
01:04 And our strike captains in LA, and our strike captains
01:07 in New York, because I'm from the New York local,
01:09 they were amazing.
01:10 We could not-- yeah, and the Ms. and Smalls.
01:13 We could not have done this without the solidarity,
01:16 the support, and the love that we felt from the picket lines.
01:20 I mean, this was something--
01:22 this was monumental.
01:24 This was such an amazing moment that we were so cohesive
01:30 that we were united in a lot of the ideas that were coming out,
01:36 the things that we wanted to do.
01:37 And AI protections was one of the main ones.
01:40 So we were together on that.
01:42 We were solid.
01:44 And this was a big hill that we climbed.
01:49 After this long week that you've had,
01:51 how are you feeling right now?
01:53 Relieved.
01:54 Relieved.
01:55 That's what I say, relieved.
01:57 And I'm excited.
01:59 And I know there's going to be the come down that always
02:02 happens after the run of a show.
02:03 Yeah, postpartum.
02:04 When you wrap.
02:05 But that's-- we're all used to it.
02:08 We've been through it before.
02:09 So we've got to help these kids get through it, too.
02:11 And sleep is probably going to be a factor.
02:13 But truly, I have to say, Fran, Duncan, Ray, all of our staff,
02:20 all of our members like Francis and Avis
02:23 and everybody that was there.
02:25 Again, these guys, there was nothing
02:28 we couldn't try to strive for.
02:32 You know, the thing is, we all get tired.
02:35 But I would make myself get up and go to the line every day.
02:40 But the point is, is that I would get something from them.
02:44 They'd look in my eyes and they'd say,
02:46 we're here for you as long as it takes.
02:48 And that would fuel all of us.
02:50 We'd do it for them.
02:52 Yes, and we stayed longer, stronger,
02:55 and we took as long as it took.
