00:00I'd love to know what made you want to be part of this project.
00:03You know, we live in a time where, you know, as a stand-up comedian,
00:09innumerable stand-up comedians have gone through the grinder of public embarrassment
00:13for things that may or may not have been justified.
00:16But I think the idea of what forgiveness looks like
00:20and the path of what forgiveness looks like, it's not just on the offender.
00:24It's also on the people who claim to be offended.
00:26Both parties have to change.
00:28And this is a beautiful project that explored that narrative.
00:31And I'm honored to be a part of it.
00:33And, you know, I've been able to work with Johnny Hill in the past on some smaller stuff.
00:37So to be able to be with him in a larger capacity was just huge.
00:41I also found out on set, Keanu Reeves is a huge stand-up fan.
00:48Huge stand-up fan.
00:49I don't think you'd ever heard of me.
00:50But he watches a lot of stand-up.
00:53Were you guys doing stand-up for Keanu, Don?
00:55No, I was doing no stand-up.
00:57I was on set trying not to forget my lines.
00:59Because you get on set with Keanu, and he's locked in.
01:04Remember.
01:05Remember the line.
01:06And I'm like, okay, well, if he's remembering, maybe I need to be over here.
01:09Hey, remember the line.
01:11So we didn't chit-chat much on set.
01:14But between camera setups, since he got upset at the end of the day,
01:17you start learning about people.
01:19And he's a dude that loves to laugh.
01:21And, I mean, when you look at his filmography over the decades,
01:25he's chosen some stuff that's definitely, if you go all the way back to Bill and Ted,
01:29or more recently, the Azeen Zanzari, Seth Rogen, he likes to laugh.
01:35So it was cool to be able to be a part of something with someone as talented as Keanu
01:44and someone who knows comedy as thoroughly as Jonah Hill.
01:49And what is Jonah like as a director?
01:51I've heard he kind of let everyone play.
01:52Was that your experience?
01:54Yeah.
01:54Jonah is a director.
01:56He let everybody play.
01:57He definitely thought, hey, here's a way to try it.
02:00But he definitely deferred to the artist to let the artist help to create the final image
02:07that everybody saw on screen.
02:08And for that, I'm just, I'm a thousand percent thankful.
