00:05 seven o'clock Eastern time here at MetLife Stadium.
00:08 And it's game number two for Bryce Young,
00:10 and I think it's pretty fair to say that
00:12 if there is an important preseason game, this is it.
00:16 The only team shut out in the opening week
00:17 of preseason action was the Carolina Panthers.
00:21 We should see more of Bryce Young,
00:23 who in that game was just four for six for 21 yards.
00:26 And I think if you're the Panthers,
00:28 you need to see Bryce Young take this team into the end zone.
00:31 - Yeah, you do.
00:33 And that's all you need to see too,
00:34 which is if you're trying to bet this game,
00:35 and again, betting any preseason game,
00:37 particularly now in week number two,
00:39 we don't know who's really playing
00:40 and how long they're playing.
00:41 Sometimes you get those little bits of information
00:43 before the game that come out from beat reporters,
00:45 expect so-and-so to get the first half
00:47 and maybe this quarterback to get the second.
00:49 But the one thing we are looking forward to
00:51 is Bryce Young performing, because not only Kevin,
00:53 it's not so much about winning the game
00:55 or even scoring on that drive
00:57 or the first two drives or three, however long he's in,
00:59 but just showing the maturity out there,
01:01 going through your progressions,
01:02 getting a feel for the NFL game and getting out of there.
01:05 Now, do we expect like, oh, by the way,
01:06 we need Bryce Young for the whole first half,
01:08 19 pass attempts here for him.
01:09 No, we don't need to see that.
01:11 But the one thing you do know,
01:12 Bryce Young is in the game, Kevin.
01:13 All of your starters will be out there with him as well.
01:16 So I'm interested in this game
01:18 just to see how he progresses,
01:19 because is it a bad interception?
01:21 Is it two back-to-back three and outs here
01:23 that they let him continue to play?
01:25 That's what I'm looking forward to tonight.
01:26 But that's the intriguing part of the preseason this year.
01:29 There's a lot of young quarterbacks
01:30 that we actually want to watch play
01:31 to see how they're doing.
