00:00How about Arizona, man?
00:01They punched their ticket, beating Purdue, 79-64.
00:06And Arizona, the most complete team probably in the NCAA finals now, right?
00:11Two teams that punched their ticket to get to the finals.
00:13That is indeed Arizona and Illinois.
00:16We've said this all year long.
00:18There have probably been three teams that really are the complete teams,
00:22Arizona, Duke, and, of course, Michigan.
00:24You've got an opportunity here to watch this Arizona team earlier in the year.
00:27They end up getting knocked off by Kansas.
00:30But without a doubt, backcourt, up front, coaching, depth, everything.
00:36This Arizona team, for the first time in 25 years, is back in a Final Four,
00:41one of the absolutely legendary programs that goes all the way back to Lute Olsen
00:45with how they built this program.
00:47This looks like an old-school Lute Olsen team.
00:49This looks like a team that, again, has all the components, perimeter shooting,
00:54big dudes underneath.
00:54That is a large basketball team, and they punched their ticket to Indianapolis,
00:59one of the two teams that have already made it to the Final Four.
01:03How about Illinois?
01:04Illinois has never won a national championship.
01:0871-59, they stopped the miracle run of Iowa, who knocked off that Gator team down in the
01:14South region.
01:15Iowa did a great job with their perimeter shooting.
01:18But Illinois, man, all the youth on that team that they have.
01:22I mean, Illinois has to be one of the easy stories of the tournament so far when it comes
01:29to surprises.
01:29I mean, look, we said this team and maybe Iowa State.
01:33Who are they?
01:34Nebraska, too, fell in that room.
01:35And you sit there and you go, who is Illinois?
01:38With all the youth, I think that's one of the things that people were saying the whole
01:42time was that Illinois, I mean, with all the young players that they had on that basketball
01:47team where they would be able to step up when the lights were bright, and they surely did.
01:51Boy, I'll tell you something about the Big Ten this year.
01:54You could make the argument the Big Ten is clearly the best college basketball conference
01:58in all of America by the style of play.
02:01Having these teams ready to play, look at the Elite Eight, look at Illinois and how they
02:06were prepped to play, and now they punch their ticket to Indianapolis as well, and they get
02:11a shot at playing for a national championship.
02:13They have never won a national championship there in Champaign.
02:18And I'll tell you, boy, that was an impressive ball game that they did yesterday.
02:22And their perimeter, their bigs, everything, the way that they handled the perimeter of Iowa's
02:28shooting from the outside, and also Iowa's bigs, Illinois looks like a team that could
02:33go on and win themselves a national championship.
