00:00All right, let's get over to the Lynx here.
00:02You know, I'm going to say it, man.
00:04Hey, Tiger, man, you got to respect yourself a little more here.
00:08I mean, this guy just doesn't respect himself off the course.
00:11Give me your takeaway on this story.
00:13It is wild.
00:15Well, first, he's lucky.
00:17He's exceedingly lucky.
00:19He was in a neighborhood, you know, going that fast, high,
00:24didn't know a car was turning, hit him.
00:26He's lucky he didn't hit a kid.
00:28You know, he's lucky he didn't hit a child.
00:30He's lucky he didn't hit somebody and kill himself or kill somebody.
00:35I got to tell you, I know everybody is now, they're all doctors,
00:39but my thing is this.
00:41Tiger Woods, by all accounts, and I know some people that know him,
00:44is insulated.
00:45He has a bunch of yes men that hang around him,
00:48a bunch of people that are doing his every one.
00:49He needs his mother or somebody that's going to say, look, dumbass,
00:54you're going to rehab.
00:55We've been down this road before.
00:57You tried to BS us with the whole I'm getting back to my Buddhist values
01:02and all that nonsense, and everybody listened to it.
01:05But he needs somebody that is close to him that is going to tell him.
01:11And if he don't want to do it, then don't do it.
01:13Keep doing your stupid stuff.
01:15But the idea that we're to feel sorry for him,
01:18the idea that he's got all these demons, we all got demons.
01:20Hell, I've had a replacement surgery on my knee.
01:23I've had replacement surgery on my hip.
01:25Hell, I've had two emergency surgeries on my balls, for damn,
01:29for crying out loud.
01:30I mean, I've had nine different surgeries on my knees.
01:34I want to hear, oh, you had surgeries.
01:36Okay.
01:37Well, all right.
01:39Figure it out.
01:40But I'm telling you, I saw this when I worked for Coach Knight.
01:44I was fascinated going from a player to a coach.
01:48And I'll never forget, I'm sitting there,
01:50and there are a lot of dudes that are pretty famous guys sitting there
01:54kissing his ass.
01:55And then I looked over, and then we went at the lunch,
01:58and there are a lot of dudes kissing his ass.
02:00And I'm thinking to myself, that's a bad way to go through life,
02:04everybody kissing your ass.
02:05So I decided I wasn't going to be that guy.
02:07You know, whatever.
02:08But I've seen it with a high-profile celebrity in sports,
02:12but Knight, he's just got to have somebody that he's going to listen to
02:16that tells him, look, dude, this is the third time, fourth time,
02:19you've jacked this up.
02:20And fifth, you may be in jail for the rest of your damn life
02:23if you hit somebody, kill somebody doing that.
02:26Absolutely.
02:27All right, Dan, well, how about this one?
02:29I mean, should he play in the Masters if he's able to?
02:32I mean, if this guy was in another sport, maybe that guy doesn't play.
02:36I mean, you know, it's a free women.
02:38You said he's protected.
02:39Do you think you see him in Augusta?
02:42No, I don't.
02:43I don't.
02:44And I don't think you'll see.
02:46Well, I'll ask you this after I say it.
02:49You know, if you're a member of the PGA Tour,
02:52and I know a Masters is a little bit outside that,
02:55but every sport, you played professional football.
02:58So you have your own contract,
03:01but you're a member of a bigger organization.
03:04And when you screw up outside, Dan, whether it's NBA,
03:08Major League Baseball, whatever,
03:09you get punished by that organization.
03:11I got to assume that somebody will stand up and say,
03:16look, you know, you ain't playing in this.
03:19You know, the Masters will be fine.
03:20I'll watch Saturday, Sunday, the Masters, regardless of Tiger.
03:23Everybody will.
03:25But, Dan, I got to believe that PGA Tour is going to say,
03:28uh-uh, man, we're going to suspend you.
03:29But he may not say it publicly,
03:31but I don't think there's any chance that guy plays in the Masters.
03:34Wish he would before this accident.
03:36No, I don't care.
03:37Do whatever you want.
03:38Yeah, you're right, Dan.
03:40There's a clause in your contract.
03:42Conduct detrimental to your league or conduct detrimental to your team
03:46that if you do anything that hurts the shield or dents the team's shield,
03:50you're not going to play.
03:51And as you said, you know, he's covered by a lot of dudes in the media, Dan.
03:57I mean, it's like a love fest right now.
04:02Yeah, it's sickening.
04:03I mean, look, people can't be honest.
04:05White dudes are afraid to be called racist.
04:07You know, other dudes are just such golf nuts.
04:10I saw this one guy, Rappaport or something, who's a reporter who does golf.
04:14He's crying.
04:15Like, shut up.
04:16Like, you know, no, it's crap.
04:21Do your own thing, whatever you want to do.
04:23But the truth of the matter is, in my opinion anyway,
04:26you need to listen to somebody, somebody around you.
04:29Maybe that's where, you know, his dad passing away.
04:31When my dad passed away and I was about 50, I was divorced.
04:34I was a crazy man.
04:36And I didn't have anybody to figure it out until I finally did.
04:39He needs a little some of that.
