00:35or more talented if you look at the rankings,
00:37but that doesn't always translate to wins.
00:40Culture still in your locker room still wins ballgames,
00:44especially when you're getting those tough awards down the stretch
00:47when you're playing Miami in the Natty
00:48or you're playing Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship.
00:51I think they're still going to be really good,
00:53but I don't think they're going to be as good as they were last year
00:55just because you still have a lot of egos,
00:58there's a lot of guys that have to buy in and hitting on it year after year.

01:18How do you think he does?
01:20I mean, here's a guy that was at Utah forever.
01:22He went through all those transitions of conference to conference.
01:26He built that program up.
01:28I mean, truly one of the best coaches in college football history.
01:30Now he's in Ann Arbor.
01:33What do you think the impact he has up there?
01:36I think he's a perfect fit just because of the way they want to just control
01:40the line of scrimmage.
01:41We're talking physicality.
01:42I mean, Utah was really physical under Winningham.
01:46Now he's got the quarterback in place.
01:49And I think in the trenches, Michigan is always dominant.
01:52So, I love the fit.
01:53I think Michigan could be a college football playoff team next year.
01:56How about Matt Campbell and his move to Penn State?
02:00When do you look at Penn State this year?
02:01I mean, you know, there's one thing that I think we always will say about Penn State,
02:05even going back to Paterno.
02:07You talk about recruiting.
02:09Players go to Happy Valley.
02:11But winning a national championship, that's been something that James Franklin
02:15wasn't able to deliver.
02:16You think Matt Campbell, does he elevate?
02:18Or is yet still wait and see what happens there in Happy Valley?
02:22I think it's wait and see.
02:25Ironically, there's a lot of similarities between Matt Campbell and James Franklin.
02:29I think both kind of just don't win the big game, but we're both really good football coaches.
02:34I thought the Franklin firing was premature, to be honest.
02:37I mean, they were ranked number like two in the country.
02:39And then three weeks later, he's fired.
02:43But Matt Campbell, I think he does a great job of getting more out of less.
02:47I thought he did an unbelievable job at Iowa State.
02:49But I could see them being similar to what they were under Franklin,
02:52just winning nine, ten games a year.
02:54Can they beat Indiana?
02:56Can they beat Ohio State?
02:57Can they beat Michigan now?
